When I first met Charlie I had just been to another barber who gave me the worst military haircut of my life. I came in with my cap on and said, "I have a 911 haircut and if you can fix it you'll be my barber for the rest of my life." Well he said, "Let's have a look." I took off my cap and the collective groan from the other Veterans in the shop let me know how bad it looked! He just chuckled a bit and then said, "Gonna have to take it up pretty high on the sides but I can fix it. No problem!" A man of his word. He DID and I HAVE been going there every since. The atmosphere is friendly, always enjoy the veteran stories and conversations from WWII to present. Haircut days shared with your peers who have so much in common has become something I now look forward to. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps, and the camaraderie and banter between ALL branches brings a comfortable feeling from times gone by!
I've searched everywhere for years to find THE barber that KNOWS how to do a clean and sharp military haircut that would gain you access to any base here and abroad. CHARLIE is that Barber. He performs his day to day profession in an exemplary manner while still making the haircut day fun, enjoyable and a memorable experience! Five 🌟 is far to low for what he provides Veterans and non military customers during their time in his shop. I carry his cards and hand them out wherever I can. Thanks for it...
