Ozark Coffee Company — Restaurant in Kimberling City

My husband Bryan & I visited the Ozark Coffee Shop in Kimberling City, MO yesterday 08/11/2024 and it was a delightful experience. The three young women behind the counter were exceptionally customer-friendly, engaging with us with genuine warmth. Unlike many young adults nowadays, the girls maintained eye contact, well spoken and worked together as a team. One girl consistently wiped down the counter/machine while other two filled orders and tendered orders with a smile of course.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and the environment of the coffee shop was perfect for the occasion. The ambiance was relaxing, creating a cozy and intimate setting for our celebration. The cashier noticed how almost one in the shop including her were wearing green. Lol - not that this matters but wanted to share anyway ….. I was the only Black person in the shop + wearing cowboy boots. Hehe! didn’t feel awkward at all but pleasantly surprised cuz in Illinois where we’re from, many folks don’t randomly speak to strangers. We Illinoisans are always on high alert cuz it’s never a dull moment, never know what to expect.

As a coffee enthusiast, I was particularly impressed by the quality of their coffee. The coffee was strong, bitter, and rich—exactly how I like it. Each sip was a treat for my taste buds, and it perfectly complemented the serene atmosphere of the shop.

Overall, our experience at Ozark Coffee Shop was memorable. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a great cup of coffee w/dash of southern...

Best coffee shop I’ve ever been to in a long time. I ordered the banana bread latte with oat milk and loved it so much had to go back again before leaving town. Also had a chance to try a breakfast sandwich. They’re surprisingly smaller than expected, but the perfect amount.

My daughter quickly got addicted to the hot chocolate- she said it tastes like melted marshmallows.

The atmosphere and decor here is great and the rest of the menu and baked goods are unique and tasty looking....

What an AWESOME coffee shop. The two gentlemen working there were friendly, speedy, and provided excellent service.

We had a large order for our family and they got it done fast while simultaneously engaging with us and telling us their story. And what a good story, this place is a nonprofit with a heart of servitude at its center.

So happy we stopped by. Can’t wait...
