Simply Baked By Chandler — Restaurant in Kimberling City

I stumbled on this bakery by searching for something different and unique. My family and I wanted to sample several items because of the foodies we are purchased extra large cinnamon roll and orange cinnamon roll, blueberry, apple, cranberry flat thing (that's what it is called), key lime pie, and a Guinness baked pie.

Let's start with both cinnamon rolls: the flavor of cinnamon and orange was good, but both rolls were extremely dense and not cooked thoroughly very doughy in the centers not editable. The flat should be eaten as soon as you get or they lose the crispy texture and become soggy due to the fruit. The key lime pie was more of a custard texture, and in our opinion could have used more key lime s more pronounced key lime punch.

We froze the Guinness pie and haven't tried it yet.

I would go back to try the cookies to see the difference.

But would not order the other baked goods...

This place is unbelievable! Wow!

We were looking for donuts or a donut place online around Kimberling City and Simply Baked popped up on the Google search. Went into the bakery/coffee shop and was surprised to find all the home baked pastries, pies, scones, muffins and HUGE cinnamon rolls.

The cinnamon rolls were delicious. The apple/ cranberry pie was so tasty. The triple berry pastry was the best! My husband had the orange cranberry muffin and he said it was delicious.

You have to check this place out when you're driving through Kimberling City. It's in a little strip mall and the coffee options are great too.

I bought a fresh baked pie, and also purchased a take and bake pie (apple/blueberry) It was incredible.

Stop in and check this place out. You will not be disappointed. It's a true gem of freshly baked, home...

It's wonderful to have a bakery in this area. The front of the bakery is open with a couple of couches and some small tables with chairs. In the back is the bakery counter. There is a sandwich board with the daily offerings. This was my first visit but I definitely recommend it and we'll go back again. I just ate a chocolate peanut butter cup cake and it was delicious!

Accessibility rating: As a local guide who is blind and has friends that have Mobility impairments, I'm highly sensitive to any and all issues of access. The restaurant itself is flat and easy to navigate. I have not use the bathroom so I cannot speak to that yet. I will update once I have that information. The parking lot is sketchy. There are lots of cracks and lumps and one needs to be careful of footing getting into the complex. #LicalGuide...
