After receiving a few recommendations for Slightly High Maintenance, I decided to go and buy my lady a gift card for services. After NUMEROUS attempts to schedule an appointment, she finally gave up. Nobody would answer the phone, respond to messages or anything. We decided to just spend the money on products and move on. While in the store, we very quickly racked up a $170 bill on the extremely high priced product. We had a gift card and simply wanted to spend it all and move on. I had asked the cashier if they could “wheel and deal” on the price of a product and come down $5-6 so we could deplete the gift card. She said she couldn’t make that decision. I asked if we could ask the supervisor. This poor cashier looked terrified to even ask…. The supervisor/Manager came over and when I asked the super simple and innocent question, I was met with aggression and frustration as she replied “would you ask that at Walmart!? I’m a small business, blah, blah, blah”. Ok, not a super huge deal, I told her that a “no” would have been fine too. After a few short words, she stormed off and we completed our purchase with the terrified cashier. Very poor customer service. Everyone wants a good deal, but nobody gets one without asking and she acted as if I kicked her dog and called her kid fat. I walk in and it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced! They didn't seem to want the business! It didn't help that they where booked from what they told me. That, anyone can understand! Yet looking around there were no customers there! One employee was cutting hair and there was another employee doing nails, but another 5 or six employees without customers. I then asked if they knew of anyone else who was open and rudely they suggested that I could try one of the Asian places. I asked where and they told me to Google it. Not only was the previous hair from a previous client not swept up and the area left uncleaned, neither were the brush or comb before placing on a child's hair next. You do realize, this is how lice and other diseases can be spread. It only takes one person to be disgusting and think it's okay practice (and actually worthy of being reported to the state board) for someone else to be affected and business to be lost. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. Then to kick a parent and their child out when you point out a violation of health board standards is wrong.
