La Rosa de Michoacan #2 — Restaurant in Kingman

My family and I had the worst experience yesterday 9.27.24 around 6:44pm. We bought some breads and they were incredibly dry. Its like the bread was made 3 weeks ago and they forgot to throw it out. Anyways, since I live in las vegas I couldn't drive back as I was already driving back home. So i decided I would call the restaurant to ask about the freshness of the food, I was then answered by a man who was very mean and unprofessional. He said I had to make a deposit if I wanted to make a complaint???? Never heard that before. After I said I wouldn't make a deposit (I was pretty upset with the food) the man hanged up on me. I tried to call the same number again and the same male answered but said "no no bread isn't dry, wrong number" ??? What terrible customer service. I feel bad for any future customers that come here. You'll get 3 week old food and terrible...

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, very colorful and plenty of stuff to choose from on their menu. I like their Chamango drink for sure! And their elotes and Pina Agua drink.

The only gripe I have with this place is that it's a hit or miss when it comes to my orders. This last visit, I ordered the rolled tacos and chose shredded beef, instead I got chicken. The rolled taco is so tiny I thought it was cigarette sized! I already bit into it so couldn't really complain. Other times, when I ordered and I get home, a couple of things were missing or wrong item ordered. My fault for not looking. So with that, just when you order I guess thoroughly check on them.! Other than that, my son liked their Carne asada fries but you can get that somewhere else better/more for the already raised prices you pay for! Small town, cant blame them.

The food is great, been here many times. Just wished the service was more friendly and accommodating, seems to be going downhill lately. The young man, a regular employee, who waited on me this morning, was rude and impatient with taking my order. He came across scathing, as if it was a bother for him to take my order. Apparently I was keeping him from doing other things and I was the only one in line, no one before me and no one after me. Instead of completing my order I just turned around and walked out. It's too bad because the food is great but I refuse to accept rude service. What I was ordering came to $23 . I guess they can afford to lose that instead of focusing on better customer service.
