I had two rings repaired. One of the rings I had them replace a number of missing diamonds. They did a fantastic job. The staff makes you feel like your part of the family. Above and beyond my hopes for service and quality jewelry repair. Will be taking a few more items to them for repair. Any new purchases made by me, will be here. Well done Baker's Jewelry.
Went back just over a month later. 3-10-21. Was talking with Patty I believe her name is, the owner. She remembered me from the rings I was wearing. Now that's a professional. Told her my large diamond ring is my favorite and I wanted an estimate to check the diamond mounts and stones and get an estimate of time. Told her my daughter calls it my Mr.T starter kit for those of you old enough to know what that means. She looked at it and found one diamond loose and showed me as she was able to move it with her jewelers tool. She walked away with it. The nice staff all offered to help me as I stood there looking at the beautiful selection of all types of men's and ladies jewelry while I waited 10 minutes. She secured the diamond in it's mounts, and checked the others. She said your all set. I could not, repeat could not believe that. WOW. So I said Maam what do I owe you. She said, nothing your good. What a 5 Star family owned jewelry store in the Tri-Cities. I will only buy and or have repair work done here. Save time and frustration and I assure you they will surpass your...
Read moreMy husband and I took my engagement ring to Baker's to have it cleaned. The ring is an antique, heirloom that was originally my mother’s, and it has special meaning to us. In the process of cleaning it, they discovered that the prongs and settings of the side diamonds were loose (there was no pressure from them to have the work done). They offered to just clean it and said the settings would hold for a while, but we opted to have the ring restored sooner rather than later to be on the safe side. The cost was minimal and the results spectacular. The ring looks new, except that you can tell it is antique by the style. We have already taken several other antique pieces to them to be cleaned and potentially restored (they are great at assessing the general worth of the pieces, so you know whether it makes sense to have them restored). The have also done small jobs for us, such as replacing the clasp on a necklace. They do great work, and the cost is competitive. They have a large staff, including jewelers on-site, so there has not been a long wait on any visit. We have so far worked with Michael, Dalton and Stephanie -- all were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them for both restoration of your valued antique pieces and everyday repair of the pieces you would wear if they were fixed but haven't bothered...
Read moreThis store is a true local, family owned business, which is a huge plus because they are very down to earth. Patti and Lauran love their customers and will do everything in their power to accommodate them and make their repair or shopping experience as easy possible. They pride themselves on honesty and doing things right. They are also amazing teachers! When searching for a diamond, they took the time to explain how diamonds were classified and tried to find the absolute best diamond for the price point. On repairs they were just as honest. Instead of completing the repair and half doing it just to make themselves a few bucks, they provided education on why the repair might not work. I loved that they took the time to explain what the jeweler would do to the jewelry. They really want you to be comfortable leaving your jewelry with them to be repaired because they realize how important it is to you. They are the kindest, most patient people who answered every single question. Bottom line. They are the most honest and kindest jewelry store in town....
