West Kingsport Package Store — Local services in Kingsport

I've only been here twice because of several reasons.

1: I used to pass through here all of the time for years until I got a job a little over a year ago. Been too busy to drop by and only been through twice since I got my job. Stopped here both times FYI.

2: Since the first time I was here, I hadn't been old enough to drink. The first time I stopped here was right after I turned 21.

3: I live in North Carolina. Only come through this area when we are headed to my dads farm property in Big Stone Gap to visit him.

Since the first time I stopped here, shortly after I met my bf, we literally couldn't get this place out of our heads.

The workers were amazing. They were welcoming, friendly and chatty which I love. Dont remember the woman who I saw the first time I came but I remember it was a very pleasant experience. Same with our most recent time a few days ago. We knew we had to stop here again.

The worker checked both of our ID's which made me super happy considering I work for a similar "company" so to say. I work as a gas station cashier and have to check all ID's and I refuse to slack on it because I've had several coworkers fired for not checking them.

On top of this the worker gave me some great recommendations, including tips on how to lessen my hangovers and severe hangover anxiety, and suggested a few non-alcoholic supplements that help with hydration and such.

Both supplements I tried from here helped TREMENDOUSLY. The workers here know their stuff and they're absolutely amazing. I would recommend this store to anyone...

I've spent a week traveling through Ohio, West Virginia, and Tennessee and this was by far the best liquor store I came across! I found bottles I can't get back home, and they were so friendly and super helpful when I asked for recommendations! Piper must be the employee of the month, what a great little greeter! I ended up finding some whiskey that I could check off my hunting list, and added a few more bottles I need to watch for once the bourbon budget gets replenished a little! More reasonable prices on some of the allocated stuff than I see in the Midwest too! Highly recommend this store, and if I'm ever in the Kingsport area again I'm going to make West Kingsport Package Store my...

A hidden gem for sure, can be easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. But hopefully that means we’ll know where to find the good stuff or “unicorn whiskey” as the manager put it haha! (Wish we’d gotten her name, she was such a nice lady!) Very knowledgeable staff, and manager even gave us a taste of a new whiskey we’d never tried. We bought a few bourbons, with their expert guidance, and we’re very excited to try them! If we’re ever back in the area we will plan to stop by here...
