The store is fine. The clothes are fine. You can find great bargains. It was just this one instance that prompted me to never come back. I walked in one day and was made fun of for my hair. I have dreads. It felt like I was being made fun of because I guess they are not common places, but I have not been one to be a sheep. I walked in, and the first thing that was said was, "Look at that hair." I know the owner, and that didn't bother me. We cut up. It was the girls behind the count snickering and whispering, and they told the gentleman that was sitting there how he liked them, and it was a cross between a grimmace and a scowl. Maybe it wasn't personal, and he just had gas IDK. The girls kept giggling, I guess, at his reaction. Is this high school? Are you trying to be the Plastics from Mean Girls? I don't care if they liked my hair or not, but what I do care about is this the way you treat your customers? If I owned the store, everyone who came in would look the same. They would all be $20 bills because that's the money. The bread and butter of the business. I had been coming to the shop for years but after that it was the last time I graced the door. I stopped by here 10 to 15 minutes before they closed which is late granted I'll give you that but I had other responsibilities to fulfill first including an OBGYN appointment for my wife related to her pregnancy. My 16 year old daughter was wanting to look for a dress for an event at her school. And they were standing at the door to block people from coming in and wouldn't even let her in for 5 minutes just to find a dress or see if she found something she liked and pay for it ,she's even got her own money to pay for it. A friend of hers recommended Whitney's closet to her because she and another girl had gotten theirs from there. Stopped in to Whitney's Closet today on the way to an appointment. Didn't have a lot of time, but looked at a wall completely full of bags! The store is very orderly and clean. Racks are loaded with ladies clothing. Not certain of the entire size range, but I found an XXL space on a rack. One item had no obvious price tag, so I asked an employee for help. Very courteous, quickly found the tag had been placed in a pocket and informed me that the item was on sale! While at the counter, I found a great bag hanging there. I received great customer service. I changed my choice at the last moment and no one rushed even near closing. They have a punch card that rewards their customers. I recommend stopping in while...
