The Kingston Public Market is located right in the heart of Kingston next to the Kingston Ferry Terminal. It’s only open seasonally starting in the Spring and just at the start of Autumn. When it’s not in use, it is a beautiful waterfront park with a lush, green lawn that’s great for picnicking. When it’s open on weekends, this bustling market showcases an array of fresh, locally grown produce, handmade crafts, and artisanal goods. The vibrant atmosphere makes it a perfect destination for families, tourists, and locals alike. Vendors range from organic farmers selling their seasonal harvest to talented artisans offering handmade soaps, jewelry, and unique decor. One of the highlights is the variety of fresh food options—everything from baked goods to locally made cheeses and jams, ensuring that visitors can enjoy the best the region has to offer. The market’s small size lends itself to a friendly and intimate feel, where shoppers can engage with the vendors and learn more about the products and their origins. Live music often adds to the lively ambiance, making it an enjoyable experience for all ages. However, parking can be limited on busy weekends, so I’d recommend arriving early. Coming from Edmonds, you can just walk onto the ferry and it will be less than a 10 minute walk from the ferry landing location to the heart of the market. Overall, I think the Kingston Public Market is a wonderful community gem that offers a chance to support local businesses while enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and Kitsap County.

Located in the heart of downtown Kingston, the Kingston Public Market is a vibrant hub of activity, charm, and local flavor. The market has a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect place to grab a coffee, stroll through the stalls, and enjoy live music. Open every Sunday from mid-May to mid-October, the Kingston Public Market runs from 10 AM to 3 PM at Mike Wallace Park, with live music from 11 AM to 2PM, right next to the Kingston–Edmonds ferry terminal. Operating on Sundays only, it’s an inviting waterfront marketplace that blends local commerce with community feel. Check the events calendar—special musical acts, themed markets (like Vintage Market or Dog Days of Summer), and children’s activities often occur throughout the season. The Kingston Public Market delivers on charm, quality, and community connection. It’s ideal for a laid-back Sunday spent outdoors browsing the vendors, grabbing a bite to eat, and enjoying local music—all while soaking in the Puget Sound views. Whether you’re a resident or a ferry visitor, it’s a must-visit spot on Sundays through mid October.

We always have a great time here. One of our favorite markets of Kitsap County, the location can't really be beat. They always have great local musicians booked, lots of local vendors and a ton of interesting events planned - thanks to the volunteers and all the small businesses for always making this one a great time!
