Nice, little local place with two screens. The big room has a larger screen, a balcony, and a cry room. The cry room is a little room with a few seats a little table and the door closes but there's a big window to view the movie from. I have sat in there many times with my two boys when they were younger and I knew that they couldn't keep quiet throughout the entire film. It's nice because the room is sound proof so the other guests can't hear your loud kids but you still get the whole effect of the movie because it's a dark room with nice sound quality for the film. The smaller theater room has a smaller screen but it's still comfortable and nice. The owner often comes in before the film starts and gives a welcome and an introduction to the movie. The owner is very friendly and I really enjoy going there. I bring my business there as often as possible so that we can keep it open but with only two screens I often have to go elsewhere to see the movie that I want to see. This theatre seems to show either what is most popular or more family oriented films and...
Read moreThe Kingston Firehouse Theater has become my movie theater of choice. Ever since I moved here in 2013, I make it a point to see movies at the Firehouse. The seats are comfy and the theater is clean (no sticky feet!).

Walk on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry, enjoy a 30 minute cruise to Kingston, walk to the Kingston Ale House, the Mossback, The Grub Hut, the Pizza Factory, or Cafe Neo (right next door to the theater) for dinner, enjoy a movie (evening shows usually start around 7 or 7:30 pm) with enough time to catch the 9:40 pm or 10:30 pm ferry back to the...
Read moreThis theater is described as a small-town theater, and it is that for all the right reasons: intimate, friendly, connected with the community. where else would one of the theater owners give a nice short spiel right before the show about upcoming events & the features of the place?
But just as important, the movie-going experience is just as good (if not better than!) many of the larger Kitsap region theaters: the audio and screen quality are really top-notch; the
My wife and I rarely get out to see movies; we have young kids with special needs. The proximity & ease of getting here make it much more possible now. The owners designed in a cry room, there's a balcony, & the place can even be rented. I have not yet tried the restaurant attached to the theater, but look forward to...
