This so called bowling alley is Deplorable! The worst I have ever visited in my 60+ years of life! My son took me, my wife, his wife, and his step sister there for Father's Day. The place was dirty, and definitely needed the approach area of the lanes cleaned! I put on my rental shoes, and on the first attempt to bowl fell, and went about 3'over the foul line because my shoes had a sticky substance on them. I went up to the counter to ask the guy for another pair. He informed me that they didn't have anymore. So I asked him for something to clean them off with. He said they didn't have anything to clean them with. What the heck kind of bowling establishment doesn't have anything to clean bowling shoes? So I had to go really slow and hope I wouldn't fall again! I was previously a League Bowler All over the world and in the Army and in civilian life . I've Never, ever encountered lanes so deplorable! My son's ball stuck in the ball return quite often! I didn't have my own ball and shoes because I had been out of bowing for about 3 years. This so called bowling alley made me wish I had my own. I will Never, Ever bowl at Orange Bowl Lanes in Kissimmee again! Glad I'm a Local Guide so that I can inform the public about this annoying place!! As a United States Army Veteran I am horrified that we have this kind of bowling alley in the United States of America! Something I would expect in a third world country! Waiting to see if the owner addresses this review. This was June of 2023. The owner responded months later and said he would get back to me. Well he NEVER DID! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS DEPLORABLE PLACE! OVERPRICED AND A CRAPPY FACILITY!!! I'm a local guide for Google and I will keep posting about this place until I hear back from him. By the way I did email you privately Mr. Owner and you never replied back to me. You evidently don't care about Veterans, Father's and their families! My family, my son's family, others we know, and our friends will Never, Ever step a foot onto your lot! Too bad because my son lives in St Cloud, and we aren't too far away ourselves. Plus we have family and friends who vacation here quite often. You need to clean up your act, and maybe you might get more business! Plus I would fire that guy who was working or whatever you call it he was or wasn't doing. He wasn't helpful to us. Plus your prices were Outrageous! Who ever heard of a bowling alley that didn't have something to clean the shoes. Disgusting! You must just give them out without cleaning...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO stars I would! We arrived at 7:45pm. I made a reservation the night before for 8pm. When we arrived, we were greeted with attitude. I explained that I made a reservation for 8pm. The gentleman behind the counter said it would be a 30 minute wait as they were âbacked up on lanesâ. Me and my party of 6 waited. At 8:20pm I went to the counter (had not even said anything) and the gentleman snapped saying âWe are still backed upâ. We went to use the ladies restroom and none of the stalls had toilet paper. And when we went to address them about the issue we were ignored. At 8:30pm ANOTHER party came in AFTER us. They were automatically attended and when we approached the counter, the gentleman told us âLet me attend them firstâ which was confusing and aggravating. At 8:40pm was when we were attended. Weâre given shoes and our lane. In the middle of the game our lane began skipping turns and just malfunctioning. I went up to the counter to just let the gentleman know of the issue and said âOur lane keeps skipping turnsâ, he asked what lane and I told him the lane number. I was not addressed any further after that and our lane was never fixed. We had to fix the pins by hitting the RESET button. The general attitude of the staff was rude and the equipment continued to malfunction. They had over booked lanes (which did not make sense) as we had reservations. Safe to say we will not be coming back and are quite...
Read morePros: Super friendly staff. Great prices for the area. We got a package of 90 minutes of bowling, shoes, popcorn, and soda for $50 total for four people. That was a good deal. Fun and enjoyable. It's a local place with character, a nice break from the super touristy stuff that most places are in the area.
Cons: The place is dated and shows its age, not only in ways that are charming. We were on Lanes 1&2, and both had faulty control panels (you couldn't read the words on the screen) and consistent scoring problems. Especially when kids bowl and the ball rolls slower, the machine consistently undercounts pins downed, mostly because it wants to count pins too soon, while the ball is still rolling and pins are still falling. So be prepared to deal with a disappointed kiddo if they finally get a strike but the machine is saying they only got 7. Lane 2 also jammed/froze a couple times during our game and had to be reset by staff before we could continue, taking up quite a few minutes of our rental time. For us, these things weren't dealbreakers, but if you want your lanes to just work, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Less important but on the same theme, the hand dryers in the bathrooms are useless: they shine a blue light on your hands and blow a small amount of air, but don't actually dry your hands at all. Be prepared to...
