Made the drive across town to Ryan’s Hallmark to pick up some cards and gifts. Nice merchandise, horrible staff, bad experience. Spent over $100 and left with multiple shopping bags—only to discover that several items weren’t in the bags when I got home. Called the store to inquire about the missing items and was told they don’t have anything. Didn’t bother ask what was missing, didn’t look around for an unclaimed bag, and didn’t ask if any employees who assisted us had noticed purchased items that were left behind at the store. Total disrespect and disregard for their customers. Shopping at Hallmark used to mean you’d have a better selection of products and a better experience with their staff. With experiences like this, people are better off shopping at Hallmark.com and having things shipped—or buying Hallmark cards at other retail shops. Some woman answered the phone and was adamant that I HAD to wear a mask no matter what medical condition that I had. All she kept saying was that I had to wear one. I spent a lot of money in that store and for this so called employee not to even check with the owner or manager is beyond professionalism. As I told her before I hung up I will shop elsewhere. All I know is this mask discrimination has to stop. I will never shop...
Read moreAfter enjoying a nice meal at the restaurant next door, my family and I decided to stop by the store around 4:45 PM. The warm and inviting appearance drew us in, but unfortunately, the experience inside was anything but.
From the moment we walked in, the store associate neither greeted us nor informed us that the store was closing soon. Instead, she simply watched us as we browsed, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. To make matters worse, she turned off the lights a full 10 minutes before closing, adding to the unwelcoming experience. It was disappointing and frustrating—especially from a Hallmark store, where we expected warmth and...
