Its accommodations, staff and services are some of the finest that you will find while still being on Walt Disney World property! Do not miss a chance to experience the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek on your next trip to Walt Disney World!||Now, for my detailed review:||From the moment you arrive, you will find what one expects when staying at a JW Marriott property -- truly spectacular customer service and an absolutely stunning property in all respects! As you drive towards the property up Chelonia Parkway, you will drive deep into a lushly landscaped wooded oasis, hidden from the hustle and bustle of Disney World while still being right in the heart of the action. The JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet creek offers two parking options, Valet Parking for $54/night or $38/night for Self Parking in a large parking garage located under the resort. These parking options are certainly within line of that of other properties within the Orlando Theme Park Region, and with ample Self Parking attached to the property, you do not have to park out in the Orlando rain and weather like you do at many other properties. Within a matter of minutes of parking you will find yourself within the property's beautiful lobby and be quickly checked in by an exception Front Desk Host.||We always found the main check-in desk to be extremely well staffed throughout out stay, and from the Self Parking Garage, we walked right up to an super-friendly Front Desk Agent who asked our names, pulled up our reservation and immediately welcomed us -- thanking us for our Marriott Loyalty and Titanium Status. He took the time to explain all of the many wonderful features and inclusions of the property, as well as the many benefits of the Resort Fee at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek.||Yes, located within the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort, the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek is a "Resort" Property and thus, like basically all hotels within the Orlando Theme Park Region, there is a Resort Fee. The Resort Fee at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet costs $50/day, but it is packed full of perks and includes the following daily amenities:||-Shuttle Service to Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World Theme Parks|-Mini Golf|-Rock Climbing Wall|-In-Room Bottled Water|-In-Room Enhanced High-Speed WiFi||While that cost may seem high, it is certainly in-line with all of the other properties around Walt Disney World, and the included Disney Shuttle more than meets that cost when you compare the surge-pricing of ride-share options to and from the Disney Parks at prime periods.||Having explained all that the property had to offer, we were eager to get to our suite and we thanked the Front Desk Agent and were quickly off to what turned out to be a truly amazing fireworks view suite. Before I discuss our specific suite, a quick note on the layout of the rooms within this beautiful Resort.||The JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek is home to over five hundred (500) rooms and suites, all offering modern and luxurious accommodations, with each room starting at a large 378 square-feet. The generous size of all rooms at this property provides a great deal of extra space to enjoy during your Walt Disney World Vacation. The only difference amongst most of the rooms at this property are the views offered, which include Resort View, Pool View, Disney Springs View and Fireworks View. All of these view types offer wonderful views of the Bonnet Creek Preserve, but if you want a truly amazing view, the Fireworks View Rooms and Suites are truly stunning as they will allow you to experience all of the wonderful Walt Disney World Fireworks right from the privacy of your wonderful room! Additionally, this property has numerous suite categories, including the wonderful new "Family Loft Suites" which are 780 square feet and offer a two-bedroom experience with well-thought-out bunk beds for the kids. With all of these wonderful and spacious options, the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek truly is the perfect place to take your family for a Walt Disney World Vacation!||Our Suite was a "1-Bedroom Fireworks View Suite" located on the Disney-springs Corner of the 8th Floor. At just over 800 square feet, the Suite felt massive! Upon entry, we found a large half-bathroom to our right. As we proceeded into the Suite, we found a large sitting area, complete with an extremely comfortable sectional sofa, coffee table and lounge chair. Across from the sectional was an extremely large television, offering the traditional Marriott Smart-TV Connected Apps. Additionally, to the right of the television was an oversized work/computer desk with two chairs. The sitting area was also equipped with a mini-fridge, and it was separated from a large bedroom by a door on the backside of the Suite. The bedroom was equipped with another large television on a swivel, along with a chair/ottoman and an extremely comfortable king-sized bed that was equipped with the ultra-plush linens traditionally offered by JW Marriott Properties. On either side of the bed were nightstands offering ample electrical outlets, including USB ports. Just off to the right of the bedroom was a large walk-in closet across from a truly heavenly master bathroom. The bathroom was equipped with a large soaking tub, a massive glass shower, over-sized vanity and a separate toilet room. Finally, the best feature of this Suite was its extremely large floor-to-ceiling windows in both the sitting room and the bedroom. These windows allowed for a truly beautiful view of Epcot, Disney Springs and the nightly fireworks from all of the Walt Disney World theme parks. Additionally, during the summer when Disney Springs offered its special Drone Show, this Suite provided us with a truly up-front view of the amazing drones! All-in-all, the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek offers some of the finest suites that you will find on Walt Disney World Property!||One other thing of note about the rooms and suites at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek -- if you are celebrating a special occasion, the property has wonderful room decor options for purchase at reasonable rates along with potential in-room amenities. As this was an anniversary stay, I had pre-booked the "Romantic Occasion" Package, and the amazing staff at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek went above and beyond -- we had a "Happy Anniversary" Sign, along with a small bouquet of roses and rose petals shaped in a heart on the bed when we arrived. They also set up tea-light candles, and even researched what the traditional gift for the special year was and provided us with a hand-written card and a gift to match the year. Such truly exceptional above-and-beyond service is what the JW Marriott is known for and what makes this the perfect place for you to stay for any occasion!||As for rest and relaxation at this beautiful resort, the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek offers two pools; one pool is a larger family pool and the second is a serene and relaxing adult's only pool. Both pools are tucked deep within the forest of the Bonnet Creek Preserve, offering a relaxing paradise away from the hustle-and-bustle of the Disney Parks, featuring truly excellent pool service with ample seating -- both with and without umbrellas. We never had any trouble finding seating near the adult pool, and each day the wonderfully attentive pool staff set up our chairs and umbrella, and they provided us with a pitcher of cold ice water which was replenished throughout the day. Additionally, throughout the day, poolside staff came around with various sweet and refreshing treats, such as frozen fruit bites and coated pretzels. We spent almost our entire trip relaxing at this beautiful pool, and we could not have been happier as it provided us with a wonderfully blissful and relaxing long weekend!||If you want to pamper yourself poolside, the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek does offer some truly heavenly cabana rentals at both the family and the adult pools -- make sure to book these in advance via the property's website, as they go fast due to the absolute luxury that they provide!||Should you wish for a bit more relaxation than just the pool, do not miss the exquisite "Spa by JW" on the third floor. As is typical with JW Marriott properties, this is a very high-end spa offering nothing but the best in staff and amenities. ||And, if you are traveling with children -- or are just a child at heart -- this property offers something for everyone! On the sixth floor you will find the "Kids Conservatory Lounge" and the "Hidden Garden Kids Club." Additionally, you will find the "Mount Chelonia Rock Wall" and the 9-hole "Garden Golf" mini-golf course. Make sure to make a reservation for any of these activities using the simple QR codes provided throughout the resort.||Finally, as for Dining -- you most certainly cannot go hungry at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek. Unlike many resort properties that only offer a few dining venues, this property offers countless choices, including:||-Sear + Sea|-Sear + Sea Bar|-Unreserved Food Bazaar|-Unreserved Beer Garden|-illume|-Palm Cove|-JW Market|-In-Room Dining||We tried as much as we could during our four-night stay, and I can tell you that we never left any of the dining options on property without being completely stuffed!||For some of the best steak and service that you will find in Orlando, make sure to make a reservation at "Sear + Sea" just off of the main lobby; you will need an advance dining reservation for it, however, as its steaks and service are truly to die for! Do not miss out on a dinner here, as this venue is consistently rated as one of the best in Orlando!||For a relaxing quick-serve meal, the truly AMAZING "Unreserved Food Bazaar" offers options for all palettes. And, each morning for breakfast, it offers one of the most amazing breakfast buffets that you will find in the Walt Disney World Area and Orlando as a whole. Plus, if you are an Platinum or Titanium Elite Tier Member of the Marriott Bonvoy Program, you are able to select breakfast at the Bazaar as your welcome amenity and unlike many properties which limit your Elite Breakfast Options, you will enjoy the full buffet as an Elite Member at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek. This amazing benefit alone makes this a property that is not to be missed!||Throughout the day, for some excellent beer selections, do not miss out on the "Unreserved Beer Garden."||Additionally, "Palm Cove" offers some of the best poolside dining options that you will find in the area along with some absolutely amazing beverage options for a relaxing day at the pool.||For a quick grab-and-go -- or some wonderful gelato -- make sure to stop by the well-stocked JW Market.||Finally, do not miss one of the most wonderful features of the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek, "illume" on the ninth floor. "illume" is a spectacular rooftop bar offering can't miss views of the Walt Disney World area and its fireworks. Reservations are required, but it is well worth the wait as it offers some amazing dining options and some of the most wonderful craft cocktails that you will find in the region!||With all of those amazing options, you certainly cannot go hungry during your stay at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek!||Oh, and if you have forgotten anything and need a quick sundry item after-hours, this property offers something very unique -- it has a CVS Vending Machine, just off of the main lobby, offering a varying assortment of items 24/7 at reasonable prices.||All-in-all, the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek boasts some of the best service, accommodations and dining that you will find on Walt Disney World property! This property truly is a hidden gem of luxury, right in the heart of all that Walt Disney World has to offer! I cannot recommend this property highly enough and strong encourage you to stay here on your next trip to the Walt Disney...
Read moreWOW Where do I start well we checked in on Wednesday and checked out Sunday, this was our 34th Anniversary on Saturday and honestly this hotel falls reel short were others succeed. I am disabled and the only door in the whole hotel that opens automatically is the lobby door so getting in and out of the parking garage was quit the challenge, also trying to get in an out of my room even a bigger challenge and around the hotel getting out to any other area like the pool area even though the doors and there is only 4 of them that say that do not open automatically, and do not wait for a employee to help as there were a few that just looked on with out offering any help, thank you to nice guest that let me out and in, also the pool entrance was a similar challenge. I will say I had a roll in shower in my room so I guess that makes the room handicap accessibly. I had to ask myself if I was really at a JW as the furniture at the pool was more of a Fairfield Inn not a JW and the Cabana Beds were stained and I thought about renting one for the Anniversary Day but decided not to, plus did not understand that the Pool Bar closes at 5 but the pool is open much later this did not make sense, boy this GM really needs to get a better idea of what customers really want to see especially at this level. We went ahead with our Dinner reservations at Sear and Sea even though things had not really gone very well all to day so we had friends join us and it started with a venison amuse-bouche I would say this was more of a cracker with a Onion and Garlic Dip not a great start, the Lobster Bisque however was a good one, then based on recommendations we tried the Octopus wow wrong choice it was very cold and chewy, we ordered 2 bottles of wine but requested one stay close until we finished the first one, the first vintage was 2016 and you think they would have checked the vintages because those were the only two of that kind and after the first bottle while opening the second we noticed this vintage was 2017 and that really makes a difference, I would have chose another selection if Had known that wow, the we proceeded with the entree's and the filet's came bone dry when it was asked of a medium rare and cold to Luke warm, the Chefs Market Fish item Black Group was over done and also cold the sauce was cold as well, and the chicken we can say pretty much the same, the only winner was the Puree mashed potato's even though they too were cold they at least had great flavor Carrots and Mushroom just dry and cold. So another failure I was asked when I had spoke with the concierge when arranging everything if the could send up wine and chocolate covered strawberries on our Anniversary night and I said that would be great instead we received a White Cake which being Gluten Free we could not eat and a Bottle of Champaign again we do not drink Champing so we gave it a way to a family that enjoyed it I am sure. This is not really a romantic but more of a convention hotel, it is not Truly ADA Accessibly and the quality of things you see are not a JW standard based on other JW locations I am familiar with, so 184,000 points and $800 later I wish I had it all back to do it all over again, oh I also forgot they pre-approved my card for only $300 when I checked wow which is fine in a smaller hotel but I received a Fraud alert on my credit well go to find out it was the Hotel trying to access more money seriously, I had canceled my card by then and you would think the hotel would have reached out to explain it but they did not and really can spend $300 in one Day here especially with Tip and everything for 1 at breakfast was $50 bucks, I really was very upset with this. I will post a picture of our Romantic Room View. If the GM reads this I hope he or she starts looking into things because I will also be posting this to Marriot Corp as...
Read moreWhat a wonderful gem that is part of the Disney World neighborhood. This hotel came with exceptional recommendations from American Express platinum travel website. Using my AMEX platinum card offered perks such as $100 resort credit, a room upgrade, which are wonderful receptionist Alexi got us to the 16th floor viewing the Disney Springs area, and breakfast for two at Unreserved Restaurant. This was probably one of our favorite breakfast buffets. We have been to during our travel around the world. Our receptionist Alexis was very sweet, she gave us a welcome box of chocolates along with two passes for free gelato at the café and provided us with transportation shuttle information which goes from to and from the parks. She also showed us how to scan the QR code to make any dining reservations or anything else that we need on this property. ||Our room was immaculate. Cleaning service was offered at the beginning of our day and then a turn down service in the evening time. It was wonderful to always have a room cleaned and the amenity is stocked up.||At the unreserved restaurant for our breakfast, we were always greeted by our hostess. I don’t remember her name, but she always greeted us with our names when we entered and left the restaurant. We had two servers between our seven days of stay, Danielle and Pablo. They were both so customer service oriented and funny and always made sure we were doing okay. Thank you to Ere for always making our omelettes and having a smile on her face. The breakfast buffet was always fresh and had many great tasting items. You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Ashley and Danielle for leaving us a special gift in a room this afternoon and such a sweet note. You guys were probably some of the highlights of our day which made the customer service part of JW Marriott wonderful.||Illume, the Japanese restaurant located on the ninth floor was spectacular. The view of the fireworks at night was wonderful. The servers are more than happy to give you blankets if it’s too cold up there. We went upstairs to dine twice in our servers names were Taylor and Miley. Coming from Las Vegas, it is service industry capital of the world. The amazing food along with the service at Illume made us feel like we were at a fine dining restaurant in Las Vegas.||Out of the seven days of our day, one of the first days we were there my husband and I got a cabana at the pool. Valentina was our cabana host both times she and Wally were just so amazing! Thank you to Valentina to always making sure we had our shade! Our cabana came with fully stocked fridge and snacks in our server brought us out a wonderful fruit plate. Our food and beverage servers name was Jose. The second day we had a day bed and the adult poolside area we ordered nachos. I hope the food and beverage administrators are able to order the nachos exactly as my photos came and they will be able to know it is substandard. The nachos were simply chips with watered down queso with a side of sour cream and pico. When we mentioned to Jose that the nacho sauce did not taste good. He seemed a bit flustered and asked us what it is that we’re looking for and asked us why it tasted bad. I had to show him Google images of what nachos were which I’m sure he knew what nachos are supposed to look like. he brought out shredded cheese, but even as the photo showed, they were substandard at best. ||Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences. We’ve had amongst other four and five star hotels. Thank you so much JW Marriott Bonnet Creek Resort for giving us an exceptional time here. My husband and I will be bringing back our extended family and friends to stay...
