Also had a horrific experience with them. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt because all the reviews were positive. I thought maybe I was the only one who had a bad experience…. I’ve had a lot of dental work done so when I first went to her, after not seeing a dentist for 2 years I expected some work needed to be done. She suggested I get a total of 7 crowns put on. 1st crown she told me, “Okay, if I do this crown and the sensitivity doesn’t go away you will need a root canal on this tooth.” After giving me the option to get a crown or root canal. Why was it even an option to get a crown if it was bad enough for a root canal??It’s still sensitive😬 almost a year later. I picked a whiter color for my first crown because I was thinking if I’m getting 6 more crowns across the front of my mouth I want white. Right!? The whole time putting on the first crown Dr. Keith made comments about how white it was and how she guess’s I’ll get whiter teeth 1 crown at a time. Literally making me feel like I made a mistake choosing the color. Next two crowns she starts at the front of my mouth. Does what she has to do and was going to help someone else. I said I’m not numb anymore. She said okay we will numb again. They didn’t. The assistant comes in scraping and tugging at my un numb mouth for 15 minutes. Sending plaster down my throat. Continued after that by digging into my gums for 10 minutes trying to get a cord out. Dr. Keith kept asking if she was done and then had to eventually come get it out. I was in tears.Put this huge wand camera around my teeth 10 times scrapping my gums to heck, and then questioned me about having a medical condition that makes me bleed more than normal. I left there that day in tears with swollen red gums and steriods to help my swelling go down. I have Never cried at the dentist before in my life! I’ve had root canals, implants, wisdom teeth removed, teeth cut out and crowns. I know what it is supposed to feel like This assistant was like a lady walked in off the street and was working on my mouth! Anyway.Took the steroids for two days and got a huge cold sore on my lip. I had to walk around the for two weeks like this. Or so I thought. I go back to get my crowns put on and they are white! Like chiclets in Mr. Wilson’s mouth on Dennis the Menace. Obviously not what wanted. I couldn’t believe she was actually going to put them in my mouth. My picture had gotten lost I hadto go back like 4 more times. I walked around for a month with ugly discolored temporary crowns. Memorial Day parties end of school year awards appointments . I am definitely traumatized. I spoke with Dr. Keith after to tell her I wasn’t happy and I would not be back. I also asked if she could comp me the $38 my insurance didn’t cover. She said she would and then sent me the bill. I paid it. Additionally Flung my crown across the room,put a stinky bib on me, Made me work with the assistant that clearly didn’t know what she was doing after I said I didn’t want her to work on me again. I had a root canal and crown down today! I have the worst dental anxiety but this place has been amazing!! Since I started visiting this place 3 months ago, I enjoy going to the dentist now and I don’t sit in the parking lot anymore contemplating if I should drive away! Seriously, The only uncomfortable part of the entire process today was the initial injection to have the area numb! Regarding the shading and crown they allowed me and guided me with their expert opinion on what to choose. I was given all the instructions on how to care for my temp crown and to call should I have any concerns. The entire staff was so accommodating and allowed me the time to address any concerns about the procedure before and after and did not make me feel rushed. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait for my permanent crown to be placed! Omg! Have you ever had a dentist call personally to see how you are feeling after a procedure?!! Dr. Keith is simply amazing and I can not say enough good things about everyone at this office. From the minute you walk in, you’re everyone’s first priority there. Dr. Keith is beyond compassionate and patient with all her clients, us especially! She has helped our family through some dental emergencies with our little one. We started a very detailed and treatment plan for myself. She made sure she I knew all the ends and outs of my treatment plan, made sure I was comfortable and in the least about of pain possible. When our timeline has to complete my dental work had to change, she was always reassuring and has done everything in her very capable hands to help me reach our goals. I say our goal, because once you meet her you’ll understand how important her clients are to her!
