Ok, I would LOVE this place, if it was consistent, open more often (without having to pay to get in) and I didn't have to do extensive research just to find out a PORTION of what MIGHT be in the store this month...
The first time I looked it up on Google maps, the hours said 24 hours (which it still does) so I drove the hour to get there on a Friday at 2pm. A reasonable time for any store. There was a sign on the door that a class was in session but, luckily, there was a man outside that had been smoking who told me that I had to book an appointment to shop. I found that odd, so I went to the website posted here and it says you can possibly shop before/after classes and events but the shop was going to be open 5 days of that month. I looked at the half dozen items on the online store, and they were sold out of the only thing I saw that I needed. Not willing to spend $35 to find out if I'm gonna like a store, I waited 2 weeks for the bazaar. Great little store! Nice people. Interesting items and nice atmosphere. I even found a basket full of the candles I had been looking for before. Not knowing that they had so much to offer(since a tiny fraction of their inventory is on the online store) I wasn't able to make any sort of list beforehand and felt like I might have bought a whole lot more, if I'd known. More, a few months later, I went back and there was a giant selection of gemstones that hadn't been there last time... Thoroughly confused, I went home to look at the online shop again and found nothing new. It even STILL says "sold out" of the candles that are currently sitting on a shelf in the store. And Google maps still says 24 hours every day except Sunday. Finally, I went to their Facebook page(which I've never done for any other store ever, since I don't use Facebook much) and there are posts of some random inventory every so often, but hardly tells you much, especially prices. So, if you're looking to casually browse a cute little shop once a month for random stuff to catch your eye, or have the money to spend on classes and sessions to be able to stock up more often, this place is great. But, if you are looking for a consistent, reliable inventory with clear pricing as well as convenient store hours and clear scheduling, you might want to extend...
Read moreThis is our favorite metaphysical store. The owner is knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I love all the classes you can take, and not to mention, the services she and other vendors offer. She usually has the books and herbs I’m looking for. My nephew, last Christmas, he wanted to come in and pick out some stones. The cats are very welcoming. My husband loves coming by to see them lol. This place has really grown over the years. Check out the website for store hours and classes/services. Lately, I’ve been in the community area about 5 times a month. There’s an author that does fun Tarot classes, which is for anyone at any level of knowledge in tarot, and the owner does full and new moon meditation circles. I’ve also had an energy healing session with her. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve even attended an astrology class by another instructor. This is a safe place of peace and serenity. It’s like my second home.
Update: I feel like I need to say this. I’ve seen negative reviews about her hours. She has the community area next door now, and usually you can shop before classes, so she’s still open quite a bit. Her hours are posted online. She is usually open the first full week of the month. She doesn’t deserve these bad reviews. I know she can take up for herself, but I hate seeing them. She offers services, too, so it’s not just a store. She can’t always be open...
Read moreThis shop kept catching my eye for weeks as I would pass by, so one night shortly before closing, on a whim I decided to drop in. I felt a definite vibe to this space that I find hard to put into words. Since time was limited I let my intuition guide me through the store, which led me to Evan's corner. I realized he was offering tarot readings and since I had never had one before, I decided to try something new and agreed to the option of the three-card spread.
The first card pull was such a prominent synchronicity for me that I was instantly enthralled. The second card pull resonated strongly, and felt mysteriously urgent. The final card was equally mysterious as well as perplexing to me (at the time).
Evan's reading turned out to be exactly what I needed to know when I needed to know it. His intuition guided me towards resolving a toxic living situation as well as providing me pertinent clarification on a critical health issue relating to energetic imbalances in two of my lower chakras.
I only sat with Evan for about 10 minutes, yet time didn't seem to matter since it felt as if I already knew him in some way. Our chance encounter gave me the information I needed to correct several critical areas in my life which needed urgent attention.
As a bonus, he even gave me a quick run-down on how to use a pendulum!
A big shout out to Evan! He's the real...
