I called to inquire about a petit four order on June 4th and they advised to email them a photo of the design I was looking for and to then call them back the following day because they did not return emails. That was fine so I called them back and they told me they couldnāt do the design in the photos I sent them (which was fine I totally understood) but that they did had some little plastic pieces that could be used. I asked if they could send me a picture of what they looked like and a woman in the background started screaming that I ābetter not be texting her on her personal phone if she texted me a photoāš I mean really angrily like she was about to have to get a restraining order. . I know they have been around for many years but they have zero common courtesy. There was a young man that got on the phone and he was very nice and he did send me a follow-up email of which I appreciated. I guess they have so much business that they no longer need to be the least bit polite. That lady sounded like a lunatic. Good how are you?...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Village Bakery is a high quality bakery and a reliable place to grab a treat.
Today was my first visit here. I opted for a chocolate frosted cake donut and a raspberry linzer tart and was blown away. The donut is perfectly sweet (I donāt love hyper-sugary treats) and has true flavor. And the tart was remarkable: the jam was both the ideal texture and the flavor balanced tart/sweet, while the cookies the jam was sandwiched between were buttery, light, and texturally delightful.
On weekends, they have a huge assortment of treats, from danishes to donuts and always featuring their signature thumbprint cookies, petit fours, and raspberry linzer tarts. They also have their own honey and jams.
Will definitely be back! Thanks James & the Village...

They always have a terrific assortment of original cookies and cakes, including the thumbprint cookies. Their cakes are amazing and the roses are butter cream. Everything in the store is awesome. And the people who work there are super nice and patiently answer questions. We picked out 2 dozen cookies, 2 petit fours, and a sampling of other cookies and our bill was...
