Sunset Motel — Hotel in Knoxville

I took the risk and paid the price. I am covered in bed bug bites after staying 1 night here. I absolutely got ate alive. Doctor confirmed bed bug bites. Besides that, this place is disgusting. They have no regular housekeeping or employees other than the owners who do a terrible job at up keep and cleanliness. Don't get fooled like I did by the few "good" reviews. Just go to north Knoxville and pay the couple extra bucks. This place needs to be investigated by the health dept and condemned. There is mold on the ceilings as others have stated. Everything is very dirty and outdated. Again, don't be like me. I would rather sleep in a public trash can than ever step foot in this place again even for one minute. You have...

I wound up not staying the whole night due to personal circumstances, however the Husband and Wife that run the place were both super sweet and kind! I arrived with absolutely nothing with me except some cash and a dead phone. They put me in a room immediately and gave me a charger to use. The room was clean and a decent size. It also seemed quiet, like there wasn't anyone acting crazy or fighting couples. 10/10 would come back and recommend to someone else. Just keep in mind that it is located in South Knoxville and the building is an older building. It's nothing super fancy, but it is definitely a safe, warm place to stay if needed. Thank...

Where to start? Rude service. Accused of having Daughter and Son-In-Law stay in room with me. Woke me up at 9 am to accuse me of this. had been up for 24 hours and needed sleep. Daughter came to visit and had cooked dinner for us. Got telephone call from office wanting to know why I had people in my room. Explained daughter visiting and we were having dinner. Haven't seen daughter for 17 months. Told they had to leave right away. Shower curtain was covered in black mold. Got non-requested phone call from office around 9 am to ask if staying another night.
