Leaving a 4 star instead of a 3 because I know the business is new and things will improve. I’ve been there 7 times now so I feel I have experienced them enough to leave a review. It’s a great location that is easily accessible and I will continue to be a dedicated patron. The food and drinks are typically very good but there have been a few issues such as coffee coming out lukewarm one day and the next I burnt my tongue. The food is also very good for the most part, but there are still some instances such as bagels coming out very chewy to the point that it had to be thrown away. I would like to see some other cream cheese flavors if possible! My second biggest issue is that enough product doesn’t seem to be ordered so they are often out of something that I want, even when I come only a couple hours after opening. My biggest issue though is that it normally takes far longer than it should to get a coffee and bagel and often any food items are forgotten until you go to remind them.
Overall, it’s a nice coffee shop that I’ll continue to enjoy - there’s just a few things to work out as they get more adjusted to how...
Read more3 months later update: still a fav spot to come and relax, and do some remote work. Today I discovered they added a nice multi-hook as requested in the ladies restroom. And! For those moms of diaper kids out there, a changing wall station! Way to go Common Place!! Increasing my stars to 5.
Always enjoy when I have a reason to stop in at CommonPlace. My husband has enjoyed their coffee and I enjoy the tea or kombucha as far as beverages go. We were introduced to CommonPlace due to its community component. We had a business meeting here and now, I have used it for my remote work meetings and when I need a quiet, safe, cozy place to work for a few hours. The only thing I'd offer as a suggestion, is could you please add a hook in the bathroom for coat or purse so it doesn't have to set on the floor? The atmosphere is calming, seating is comfy, and the staff always friendly. Thanks Eli. We're grateful to have your...
Read moreHighly recommend CommonPlace Coffee! I went for the first time yesterday with my 15 month old and had a wonderful experience. My daughter struggled to sit still and kept walking around the shop and finding things to grab. The shop owner was so kind and kept reassuring me it wasn't a problem. Overall, the owner so friendly and I could tell he really enjoys connecting with customers. I ordered one of their Fall special lattes and it was delicious. We also ordered a giant chocolate chip cookie which was SO good (I'm a hobby-baker so baked-goods can be a hit or miss for me, but this cookie was GOOOOOD). The shop is very cute and comfortable. Plenty of seating options and tables; great spot to get together with friends or to study. They kept some of the original details from when it was previously a bank, which adds to the charm of the space. Even though we live about 30 minutes away, I will...
