I tried to return a shirt I purchased. It was the wrong size. I didn't realize I bought the wrong size until I washed it. I typically wouldn't ask to return something that has been washed. Since it was too big and hangs lower than I want I called to tell the clerk what happened. She said, we typically do not take back the item in this case but bring it in. I took the item in and proceeded to tell the clerk who greeted me what happened. She quickly told me no we can't take it back. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the clerk who gave me the OK to return. Thing is I'm a long time customer. I have purchased hundreds of dollars of Ann Taylor clothing over the years. Heck my closet was and is still full of Ann Taylor. Their customer service sucks. I worked at a well known dept store who would bend over backwards to make a customer happy. It doesn't matter how much money a person spends over a period of years. No body cares. A customer is not valued anymore. Your just a face in the crowd. So what take a t shirt back. It's not like I was trying to return a bag full of washed clothes. I'm going to cut up my credit card. I no longer want...
Read moreI like to shop at loft and have been to several in other locations that are great in terms of customer service. The people that work at this location, however, are some of the rudest clerks I’ve ever seen in my life. I have contacted them by email to make complaints before, but they never have troubled themselves to respond with a sorry, so I think I’ll just say it here. I wondered if it’s with everyone, some form of elitism, or they simply don’t want to make any money. I love Loft clothes for work bc most are more conservative, and this is the only one I live close to, but good grief. If you feel you can’t ever be bothered with customers, (this is not a one time instance), get in a different industry. And if you’re the manager and continue to turn a blind eye, perhaps this isn’t your...
Read moreI was in this location today and about 6 weeks ago. Today the AC was not working and there were 2 portable units there to help. It was still 90° in the store. I am not exaggerating. As much as I wanted to shop and try on clothes, there was no way I could try on clothes in the heat. I felt so bad for the employees there today. The AC was not working 6 weeks ago at this location as well. The owner of the building should be embarrassed. I'm surprised Loft still has employees willing to work in these conditions. I hope they are being paid extra for working in these terrible...
