I want to preface this review and say our waitress was fantastic and I gave Service 3 stars because management was the issue NOT the server. She was truly a gem and this review is not towards her. We came to Flemings as first timers to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. She wanted to go for lunch so it wouldn't be busy and we all wouldn't be so full later and we live about an hour away so it also allowed us to miss traffic. Upon arriving we were the only people in the entire restaurant. I had made reservations in advance not knowing how busy it would be and mentioned we were celebrating a big milestone. The hostess brought us to our table they had some confetti on it and a signed birthday card from the entire staff. We all were impressed and thought what a great start. Since we had not been here before it did take us a bit to decide what we wanted and like I said our waitress was great. We ordered within 20-25 minutes of arriving and by this time a couple had arrived and was sitting near the bar area. We then sat and waited and waited and waited some more. After about 45 minutes the manager, I assume, came over and told us that she was sorry but she was unhappy with the food that was prepared and they were remaking it, there were 5 of us in our group and none of us got anything other than different steaks all cooked medium (one was a sandwich still steak). Once she walked away we waited and waited a lot longer. By the time we got our food it was pushing the 1.5 hour mark of when we ordered. My husband and I were trying to stay calm as this was our daughter's birthday. Once we all got our food the disappointment escalated. My father in law had some kind of fried potatoes with his steak and they were burned horribly and it was obvious when they were set down, my steak was supposed to be medium and it was very rare, blue in places, our daughter got the steak sandwich and her steak was almost blue it was so underdone and she ordered it medium also. A new person came to our table, I assume another manager, to give us vouchers to apologize for the wait a $25 for our daughter and $50 for my husband and I. I mentioned to her about our food and the issues and her response was, "oh" and she walked away. No offer to fix any of it. I couldn't finish my steak the way it was cooked either could my son or daughter so we packed it all up to bring home and cook a little more. My father in law didn't eat the potatoes so he only had his steak. My husband was starving by this point so he just ate his. Our waitress was very attentive and apologized numerous times and we assured her we knew it wasn't her fault. She told us we could have dessert on the house and to pick whatever we wanted. We all decided on chocolate chip cookies and some coffee. Our coffee came out and then we were told we would have to wait again because they had to bake the cookies it will be about 15-20 minutes. This would have been okay had we been told upon getting the dessert menu there would be a wait if we ordered them. By the time the cookies came to the table all of our coffees were cold and since they were specialty coffees none of us wanted another one. The cookies were truly the best part of the meal. By the time we left we had been in the restaurant 3+ hours, for lunch, and the entire time we were there only one other couple was in and out. We left here spending almost $300 and being the most disappointed we have ever been with a restaurant/meal. I know we received the vouchers to come back but that doesn't even cover one meal and after that experience I don't want to waste my money or the time. If this happened in an empty restaurant at lunch with a full kitchen staff I would hate to be there when it was busy for a...

Went with the baked potato and creamed spinach for sides. Potato was great and ridiculously huge! Had the cheesecake again, this time it was perfect. Staff are all excellent from reception to servers to runners. Attentive and very pleasant. Our server, Rexanna, was wonderful and took excellent care of us. Ask for her when you go, she will not disappoint. Flemings isn't cheap but for what you get, paired with such excellent service, its a nice dinner for special occasions. (Older review) Not sure why we never have visited Flemings before but finally got to do so on Saturday. Had a reservation and got seated pretty quick. They were busy but not slammed. We ordered the onion ring app to start. These were good, had a nice dip that went well with it. Bread was also served, came with 3 spreads, cant recall which was which but I preferred the white one over the tomato based. We ordered a dry aged ribeye and the small filet with crab legs. Both steaks were really good. Cooked correctly and served hot. Filet could be cut with a fork it was so tender. Ribeye had just a bit of that charred fat goodness on one edge, it was perfect. We got the Flemings potatoes and the spinach as sides. I wouldn't order the spinach again. Was expecting more of a spinach maria but its not, more like plain spinach, creamed. Potatoes were good though. Cheese like oven baked scalloped potatoes. We ordered the lava cake and cheese cake as desserts. Both were good. The cheese cake was dry, I assumed it had been cut earlier in the day and had sat on a shelf in a cooler. Good for expediency, bad for moistness. It was OK, wouldn't order again. The lava cake was good, great chocolate taste. We could have just split that but I'm a sucker for cheesecake. :) Server was quick, attentive but not overbearing. Kept our drinks full and the table cleared. We had a small issue with the lava cake and though not requested, a manager came by to check on us and comped it. Thank you! We left our left overs at the booth. Since they had my # in our reservation the staff called us to let us know. We went back to get the left over filet, was too good not to. Thanks for the fabulous service! We will...
Read moreWe just got home from Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse after a 2 year hiatus. Our last experience wasn’t the best, but we heard they had a new Chef partner and had to give them another chance. I am so glad we did, everything was absolutely fantastic. We started with Old Fashions which were delicious and different than anything I’ve had before. We started the meal with the pork belly appetizer that just melted in my mouth, the carpaccio (something we wont order just anywhere) and sweet chili calamari. One appetizer was better than the next. I really could not come up with a favorite.
The main course was even better! The prime dry aged ribeye steak was succulent and my husband really enjoyed the filet mignon. Our friends had the Diablo shrimp on top of their prime dry aged ribeye and they were very impressed. We also had a few sides. Our friends were there last night and highly recommended the lobster Mac and cheese. That is to die for, best I’ve ever had. The crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon were amazing as well. Honestly, my husband ordered the potatoes au gratin but I didn’t want to waste my appetite on potatoes. Since we all stuffed ourselves and didn’t leave room for dessert, I snuck a taste of the potatoes when we got home. They were outstanding! There was so much food, I have an entire meal left over for lunch tomorrow.
I would highly recommend trying this restaurant for a special occasion or a nice evening out with great friends. The new Chef Partner has made such an incredible impact on the restaurant. The waiter was attentive and professional and perfectly gauged the pace of our meal. We will definitely be visiting again soon, especially when we can try some Chef’s specials.
Note, I felt very safe in the restaurant, every staff member including everyone in the kitchen wore a mask the entire time. There was hand sanitizer outside and everyone was seated a safe distance away from each other. This was my first dine in experience since March and I’m so glad I trusted Fleming’s to make it a safe and comfortable and...
