I tried to write this review a couple of weeks ago when I was in the store. All I can say is wow wow wow. I used to work for a target a handful of years ago, and I can fairly say this is one of the WORST targets I’ve ever stepped foot into.
You can tell this location is poorly staffed and the people who work there are either super friendly or no where to be seen. The store practically is a Walmart with all the freight throughout the isles. I have never seen a target with palets of products throughout the store. I say palets, but I mean literal PALETS. There were so many and there became an increasing amount the closer you got to the back room. You can tell this store is struggling with a stocking team. Maybe that’s why there were no team members to be found, because they were either putting merchandise on the shelves, or all at the front lanes trying to checkout guests.
I also have to mention the complete disarray that is the soft lines department. I always checkout the mens department for deals or whatever, and it was an absolute WRECK. I have never seen the clothes completely strewn about like they were. This department is definitely struggling as well, and it shows.
I don’t know if they are having a hard time filling postions or maybe it’s the management driving employees away. Whatever the case may be, Target as a company really needs to step in to this location and find out the cause of the issue. It’s in a really heavy foot traffic location, it’s just sad I have to go to another Target in the area to...
Read moreCaitlin, the greeter/cart attendant at the front, was phenomenal. Off the cuff before walking out I decided to ask her about a popular bullseye product that I was trying to find more of for a home organization project, that seemed to be sold out locally at other Target locations, including this Target. I knew it was a long shot asking, and never really expected a retail worker to want to investigate it more since it’s kind of a particular request. She went above and BEYOND to help me find more of this bullseye product by coordinating with her team to check inventory in the back, and then proceeding to call other local Targets that I had not been to, to check and put the desired color and number of bullseye items on hold. She was just truly exceptional in her guest service and candor and made me feel special and valued as a Target guest. She deserves to be acknowledged, praised, and promoted for her above and beyond behavior - she represents what I think of when I think of Target! She is the kind of individual who Target needs in leadership just based off of my one experience with her, and I feel confident in saying that. And her manager, Chris, was extremely polite and friendly and seems like a big contributing factor to the success at the front at this...
Read moreThis place definitely ain't lipgloss but it be Poppin! There's a lot of eye candy, actual candy and great sales blistering around the store.
For the Casual Shoppers they do have one of their small cafes as well as a Starbucks in here. So you could definitely get lost and be comfortable both in your belly and with coffee while you shop. Super awesome
The staff is very friendly at the store and I can always find someone when I need to. However, that does not mean that they know the answer to my questions most of the time so I don't know how to judge that one just yet but I will take the ability to have a person there.
Bathrooms are usually pretty clean at this location as well as the fitting rooms. I don't know why but that is a big pet peeve for me; those things being dirty at a very nice establishment. So you're good to go potty here even with the kids.
Everything else is your normal Target layout with a few knick-knack items that are catered towards Knoxville like UT apparel Etc. Have fun and shoot your target!...
