Indian Grocery — Local services in Knoxville

This grocery store is totally a (somewhat) hidden gem!! The staff are lovely, the store is clean and pretty well organized. Lots of good quality herbs and spices!! I am not any bit experienced with indian cooking but, I am learning and able to find what I'm looking for there pretty easily. theres a surprisingly large selection of frozen goodies. All the delicious indian snacks I could dream of! There's even fresh vegetable selection too, it's not very big and the selection changes. The prices are very reasonable and the vegetables are fresh and I haven't seen a bad one. I actually prefer produce at a market like this to food city and Kroger. It's cheaper at this market and better quality. My favorite part though is the WALL OF BEANS! they have all kinds of lentils and other beans. Very well kept and maintained. I highly recommend this grocery store. Please go support this local business. It's easy to run in and out. Even if you just need some produce, it's so much better...

I'm not experienced enough in Indian ingredients to say how well stocked the store was in terms of having everything one may need, BUT there appeared to be quite a large variety of items, so I'm willing to bet you'll find what you need here. That being said, this was an extremely comfortable place in which to browse. The staff (more specifically the young lady who went out of her way to help us) was delightful, informative, and eager to help. I'm impressed by this store and I'm excited to buy more things there. Selling Expired Items

I was excited to support a local business, but was so disgusted to see they sold me expired goods. Food that expired LAST YEAR. Truly unacceptable. I called and did not receive adequate customer service. Please fix your phone system. Please have more pride in your own business, go through your entire store especially the fridge and freezer sections. You wouldn’t pass a health inspection at your current state. Do better.
