I needed to buy a chair for somebody. The manager is nice. The service is efficient. Just don't move a chair or help them move the chair inside, if you are injured yourself. Have some respect for yourself! The reason why I say this is because the manager, asked me to help the guy who would be delivering the chair, move it in to my friends place. Well, when the nice, young man came to pick up my friend's old chair and replace it with the chair that I had bought him, I immediately told him that I would not be helping him because I had just injured my hands the other day. The thing is, when I was shopping around for the chair that day, I had specifically told the manager that my hands hurt. Suffice it to say, the young mover took care of it, and I didn't move anything, but the manager could have been more understanding of my condition and written that in the notes. I wasn't going to move the chair anyways, but the insensitivity of the manager regarding my hand injury, I very much noted to myself. And that is why I gave boyer's the furniture business 3 stars our of 5 stars. The quality of the furniture is great, but the manager's insensitivity to my injury made it not so good. Of course, he is a business and he has to think about money only. I understand that. The other downside was the lack of communication on the part of the young mover regarding his own job. You see, what happened was that the young mover, upon giving me the chair, asked me where I wanted the nightstand. I didn't order the nightstand. I had to tell him that I didn't order the nightstand. He should have known that there was no order for me, for the nightstand. It's his job to know that. I'm not mad about it, but I can see some dishonest person saying yes, I ordered that nightstand and trying to take it for themselves when they did not in fact order the nightstand. It's these two things that irked me and bothered me about this place. I would recommend shopping here but being clear about what you want, and showing the receipt of the furniture you bought to the mover, so there is no unnecessary confusion over what was bought and...
Read moreI wasn't going to stop and shop but then I thought why not see what they have and what their prices were. I knew what I wanted, so OK. The salesman greeted me as soon as I got in the store and asked me what I was looking for. A gilder rocker and a corner TV stand. No corner TV stands but he could order something for me. We went to the rocker area. I picked out a rocker but was unsure which color I should get. The Man took pictures with his cell phone and sent them to my Daughter to help me decide. He gave me some time alone to think. I sat in a rocker/recliner which I didn't think I would like. Comfy! And I knew that was the one for me. When He came back I told him I had changed my mind. We then started looking for TV stands. It had to be small. None of the ones they had there were going to work. I told him we should think outside the box. I looked at a book self but it was too big. He then showed me a taller, more slender book self in oak. Very nice. Not only do they deliver but they also took my old furniture. I was impressed with the quality of the furniture and also their prices. They were so kind and helpful. Next time I need something, Boyers will be the first place I'll look. ...
Read moreAaron the manager and the other sales associates helped me with my purchase before my hip surgery. I spoke to Aaron on the phone and he spent 25 minutes discussing my situation. When I arrived they had the lift chair, tv stand and pedestal for my mattress readily available. I was pleased with their sensitivity and their pricing was less than Ashley. Mostly I appreciated their customer service. For a small fee they will haul off my couch and box spring which is less expensive than Hilltoppers or other companies. I would recommend this company to anyone making a purchase of furniture. Boyers has the friendliness of a small town and their service...
