This is the local La Grande farmer's market. It's Saturday, 9 to 2ish. The number and variety of vendors varies from week to week and from year to year (obviously) but the atmosphere is usually friendly and there's food and live music, again with widely varying quality.
The only real down side is that it's pretty small. You can see everything to see or shop for in about an hour unless you're very, very slow at it, but if that's your thing, it's a nice way to spend...

During the summer I buy twice as much food for half the money and it lasts longer and tastes better than anything I can get in a store. I love seeing the seasonal changes in what is available.
