The owner of this business is on point. In the current climate, it's a buyers market. I had a couple of vintage high end watches I was looking to get rid of. A Jaeger-Le coulter, a couple of Seikos, a Waltham and a Helios. Admitidly, he passed on one of the Seikos and the Waltham. However, I understand the reasoning why, as this gentleman took the time to explain. Furthermore, he took the time to examine each piece, and give me a fair bit of information for each individual item. He seemed genuinely interested in the history of each piece and spent a fair bit time conversing about them. This was absolutely unexpected and certainly appreciated. Finally, he offered, what I would consider, a fair market value for the pieces he was interested in. The thing I appreciated most concerning my experience was the transparency. He was very up front about his offer and what costs would be involved in order for him to make a profit. I felt as though his explanation was beyond reasonable. In the future any jewelry, coins or collectables that I may have for sale, will be hitting this guy's counter first! Excellent salesmanship, as well an overall easy and...
Read moreVery professional, knowledgeable and honest. I don’t know much about coins or collectibles and I brought a few pieces in that I was curious about (value, rareness, etc) and Owen took the time to not only answer my questions but explain to me (like I am 5) why and how the valuation is determined. I also had some old jewelry that I did sell and the price was very fair. Lastly, my experience was absolutely 5 star and I should also mention very efficient and private. He listened to me, gave me some very helpful information and a couple of suggestions and I was still in and out of there in about 10-15 minutes. I would definitely recommend Owen’s expertise. The location might be newer, but he has decades of experience and is a real professional. I’ll definitely be taking him my business again - if and when I...
Read moreI guess he omly works by appointment these days. He was highly recommended by several people that I know. So I stopped by at 430 and when I buzzed, he said closed the remainder of the day. Okay. Went back the next day, closed on that day of the week. Went back 2 days later, buzzed the door, told him I had some items I wanted to show him. He said, only by appointment. Im pretty much over it. Super frustrating and I know plenty of people who just walked in. If he would have told me on day 1 when I went there that I needed to make an appointment, I would have. The guy maybe knowledgeable, and fair but the fact that he doesn't seem friendly and you need an appointment, is quite frustrating. Ill find somewhere that has an actual store front that is open during regular...
