Horrible customer service and treatment! I ordered on GrubHub at 4:33pm and order was delayed to be picked up around 5:15-5:25pm which is understandable for Halloween night but my husband came to pick it up and they kept telling him they will check the order and never informed him of the status. And all the while the guy was still taking orders and phone calls but no pizzas were coming out. People were coming in for pick up but there were no pizzas! Poor management skills, ill prepared for a busy holiday and completely no sympathy for the long wait or didn't even bother to remedy the situation.
My husband left and came back home. Then I called around 6:45pm to check and the guy said he will check - again - and then I waited 10 minutes on the phone and he didn't come back. I hung up the phone and called back and he picked up (probably was going to take an order that will never be fulfilled) and I told him the same thing. And finally, he said it's ready. Wow. That's all I needed to know. I told him hey, you guys need to reorganize or something because this is ridiculous and he said they have like 70+ orders. No apology. Nothing. Sure it's busy and I get it because I used to work in food business but he didn't even get down to the situation to fix it or at least check the order! They just want your money!
Wasted time and money. Bummer because we wanted to support a local business but this left me a bad taste in my mouth. We didn't bother to pick up the pizza now that it's ready because it's not...
Read moreThree strikes, your out!! I am new to the neighborhood but always love to support our local ma and pa shops instead of the big name corporations. But when one place just has horrible customer service they quickly loose mega points with me. This place usually has excellent pizza. Now my last 3 visits here have just been horrible. The first 2 times I was there and had to experience the younger female working the counter and all if her rudeness I just let it go and chalked it up as her having a bad day. Happens to all of us. But last night was the 3rd and final visit to this place thanks to the young snotty counter help that obviously feels she is to good to be there and does not have the time to even try to be polite to the customers. As I waited there for literally 35 minutes for one small pizza I watched customer after customer Come in and out of there and she was rude to every one of them. Read moreI've ordered from here in the past and it's been a while since I actually stopped by and ordered in person. From what I remember, the pizza has always been very good. Unfortunately, today's experience will probably prevent me from going there ever again. I walked in and I thought the place was empty until I noticed a worker off to the side of the service counter and register. He appeared to be focused on his phone or perhaps a school book or maybe just intensely staring at a stray pizza topping. Regardless, he never looked up to greet me and he never attempted to take my order. He just stared. Down. For 5 minutes. Not wanting to bother him, I walked out and pretty much decided not to return here in the future. I drive 2 minutes down the road and dropped in to another local pizza shop and had a great first experience there. So I guess, thank you to NY Giant Pizza for at least helping me find a much better place to take...
