So glad to have found Amanda! She is an awesome stylist. First of all, she is really welcoming and easy to communicate with. This is so important when you're paying someone to work on your precious hair, you know? She gets what "service" is about. She does her best to understand and serve whoever is sitting in her chair and make them feel comfy. And as far as skills go, Amanda's got it. She's a pro and her years of experience and talent are obvious. I luv how she is so detail oriented and wants to make sure every part of her work is just right! If something like the cut or color or whatever doesn't look as desired, she'll keep workin it till it's "right!" I've learned she's really not happy, if her customer isn't happy. Ok and I have to say that I luv the color product Amanda uses! It covers the roots really well, somehow seems to last longer before the roots begin to show (for real, don't ask me how, it's weird) AND it isn't harsh on my scalp! I don't leave her salon with my scalp itching and burning (as I have for so many years at various salons). Never thought this was possible. So, if I could give Amanda more than 5 stars, I would. It's not fluff....

My 10 year old daughter got her hair cut by Katie, the owner of Color Theory. She has loose curls/waves and quite a bit of hair. We loved her long layers and the cut turned out great!

Katie was super sweet, friendly, and made my girl feel welcomed. She’s a mom and was naturally very good with kids.

Plus, the shabby chic atmosphere makes every visit feel like a mini retreat. If you're looking for a salon that nails both style and ambiance, look no further!
