I have bought a few clocks from Jim over the years and he has always been upfront and friendly, if a bit quirky.

I can understand how other reviewers have given him bad reviews.

I had given him five stars in my last review of seven years ago but, unfortunately circumstances have changed.

Three years ago I bought a brass ships clock from him and it stopped working about six months later. We agreed that I could send it back to him so he could look it over. I sent it to him and he said it was very dirty. I mentioned that I had bought it from him earlier in the year.

Ever since then he appears to have ghosted me and does not answer the phone when I call. I left about six voicemails asking him to call back (I live 400 miles from his shop).

It’s been a year and a half since then ( no need to keep calling if he won’t respond) and I’ve given up on getting the clock back.

This shop is amazing and James is the absolute best! I have my mom's 70 year old cedar chest and when I recently moved, the movers lost the key and the chest was locked. Of course, it was a skeleton key. After paying a locksmith to come and open it with no luck, I began looking to purchase skelton keys in the hopes one would work. I stumbled across Time & Treasures and James. I told him my plight and he immediately found several keys. He sold me the keys and told me to go home and try them and come back with the ones that don't fit. This place has the most beautiful collection of clocks I've ever seen. Grandfather clocks of all different sizes, wall clocks, mantle clocks, cuckoo clocks, anything you might want.
