Bennett's Up Towne Shoppes — Local services in La Porte

We went to Bennett’s today and Don, I assume the owner knew that we were really interested in the Department 56 snow Village pieces, he worked out a deal for Black Friday, I was so thankful because these pieces can be incredibly expensive, and to me, these are timeless pieces that my grandmother and my mother owned. He helped load the pieces in our car. Great customer service and care, we are very thankful that we went in there today. Woman behind the counter watched me and my girlfriend like a hawk while we were browsing. They have cameras monitoring the entire store, I do not need to be stared down because i’m looking at an item too long. Profiling does not make for good customer service.

Otherwise, the store was fairly large with an average selection of items, for a small town thrift shop. Prices don’t make a lot of sense, but they (as far as i know) aren’t in control of that.
