Terrible placed. Walked in no greeting. Waited awhile for table to open standing right in frint a party of 20. I understand we wait for tablez but they need chairs for when no seats are available. Then took tgem 15 min to get to clean a table to clean it and leaves seats wet. Had to wait 5 more min for someone to come abd dry it. I get it was busy woth the party of 20 but, still no greeting, no apology for waiting. The prices are on the higher side so I expect better service. Absolutely no friendly customer service. After waiting 50 min for our meal they bring one meal out of two ordered and it was incorrect. Then I asked where my meal was and said it was still cooking. And that order was incorrect. We ended up leaving. It was the WORST customer service ever had. How os it you walk into a restaurant they don't greet you. Don't acknowledge you as a patron. Every encounter with the staff was not friendly and no greeting. On top of waiting 50 min for food, both orders are wrong and you don't get the second one because still cooking? More like they forgot to put it in. Worst custimer...

I was in the area for an event, and searched for a non-chain restaurant and found this interesting place.

The decor is fascinating. I'd like to go back and see more of it. Funky retro fusion with cool Asian accents. Fun vibe, good for dates or whatnot.

The General Tsos chicken had one of the best sauces I've had. Great flavor, heat was mild, but the chicken was nice and crispy.

The cashew chicken was ok. The water chestnuts were crisp and the cashews were nice and crunchy. The sauce had a good flavor , but the chicken was a bit soft and almost soggy. I'd order the Tso chicken any day of the week.

The fried rice was tasty. The egg drop soup.was standard.

Lunch special prices were outstanding. Just about what you would pay for a fast food combo.

I don't know anything about sushi, but I heard other tables order some, and they seemed pleased.

If I'm ever back in town, I'll...

Omgosh this place was awesome. Now we have been here a few times and only once was it a 4 star night. We just gloss over that and move on to all the other wonderful visits. My husband always gets the dragon meets Phoenix. The rest of us have tried the menu and it's all wonderful. Get the combo app because it's cute and really good. It is a small restaurant but service was super fast and we always have drinks. If you are looking for adult time have them seat you in the bar area. Bam no kids in site. This is a wonderful place for everyone from families to couples on a date to grandparents looking to visit with their friends. Oh and its cheap. Plus we get to take a ton of food home because the plates are large enough...

So the sushi is good. I enjoyed the spicy crab, the California roll & the shrimp tempura on my last visit. The service is great. Everyone that has helped me there is super friendly. Their chashu ramen left a little to be desired. It tasted like store-bought noodles & the broth was slightly bland. Served with only a few slices of Chashu, a few mushrooms, a few pieces of broccoli & lots of scallions/onion. The egg yolk was still liquidy in parts. I am curious to see if the Seafood Udon with the udon noodles are any better than the Chashu with ramen noodles. I will be back to try other menu items. I attached a picture of the Chashu Ramen.

I have been here THREE times in as many weeks because the food is so amazing! I haven't had a dish there that didn't make me go, "Yuuum!" Reasonable and competitive prices on all their menu items. Service was a little slow, but considering they just opened less than a month ago, I'd say it was pretty good! They have gotten faster with each visit, too, so they are definitely improving in that area. I HIGHLY recommend the Ramen, you will never look at those dried packets from the store the same way again. The sushi is excellent and beautifully presented, it is practically a work of art. LaPorte is so lucky to have this gem!
