Red Door Fire Kitchen + Lounge — Restaurant in La Porte

Fire Kitchen has been a familiar presence to me for a while, as I always catch the incredible aroma of their cooking from lunch through dinner since our businesses share the same alley. Yesterday, I finally decided to stop in and order a pizza, and I was thoroughly impressed. They offer a fantastic selection of food, and the pizza was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I want to give a special mention to Kim (I hope I got the name right! I'm terrible with names but I'll never forget a face.)—she was exceptionally polite and helpful during my first visit. It was also a pleasure meeting the cook, who clearly puts a lot of passion into their craft.

I’ll definitely be back, and I truly appreciate having a great restaurant like Fire Kitchen in the neighborhood. We need more places like this!

Sadly, this was the first opportunity I was able to get to this restaurant. I have wanted to try it for so long. I was definitely blown away by the design of the space. The bartop is massive, and you can easily sit there to enjoy a meal and not feel crowded. Plenty of elbow room and space for several dishes and drinks. The staff was AMAZING. There was a private party, of maybe 30 people, and the staff was on top of our every need. Drinks were unique, and tasty. The. Food. *chefs kiss. We had an app and a pizza that had the appearance of a big city meal, and had outstanding flavor. The owner even stopped to chat with us, which was a very nice touch if you ask me. 10 out of 10, would definitely do it again. 1st time, we went in for their wood fired pizza and to try the new place out. We were pleasantly surprised at their extensive drink and wine menu, we ordered 2 of their signature drinks and both were served perfectly. Nice presentation! Next we ordered the saganaki as an app and 2 speciality pizzas. The app came, nice fire presentation as it should be. The pizzas came and were great, fresh ingredients and made with care. We took about 1/2 the pizzas home as they are very rich. We are locals and will be back, if you’re looking for a quality real wood fired pizza, you should try them out.
