This review has nothing to do with the quality of the product purchased. I purchased from this merchant because they allow for full customization of your sofa and I liked the selections they had in store. I also know mistakes happen but unfortunately issues kept appearing every step of the way with little to no solutions. First off, the day of purchase I gave a down payment and was instructed that the remainder of my balance would need to be given before the delivery date (10-13 days after purchase). When the remainder of my balance was due, I went in store to pay but didn’t have my original invoice in hand. I didn’t think this would be an issue since I’m sure they have it in their system, right? It took them a few minutes to pull the information but they did and I paid. Later on, when reviewing the original copy of my invoice, I noticed I was overcharged. I reached out via phone and they told me to email the email provided to me. I never heard back so I had to dispute the overcharge with my bank. On the date of delivery, l received my sofa and dining table later than the time window mentioned. On top of that, they forgot to load all items to the delivery truck so the remainder of my items had to be delivered at a later time. Even worse, when the items originally reached my house some of the items were perfectly wrapped in plastic but some items weren’t. How a new sofa is not wrapped or protected from possible damage is beyond me. Especially, when loading into a delivery truck with multiple other items. My biggest regret was not saying anything that day because I didn’t want to assume the worst possible but sure enough a few weeks later I noticed an incision on my chaise which was one of the items not wrapped. Things happen, but they can at least have the courtesy to answer my texts or emails and provide a solution. So in summary, I was overcharged, was missing items on day of delivery, and a part of my sofa came with damage from lack of proper shipping/handling. I hope no one else goes through...

We had to finalize the contract the following business day (over the phone)(hight light the following. THE woman on the phone she said “we want to finalizes the contract before we start making the couch”), the bank that had us approved (through this furniture store) suddenly didn’t approve us. They stopped answering the phone so we had to swing by to see what was happening, just to confirm that we didn’t get approved (that is on us due to not using banks that their financial bank work with A.K.A Cashe etc), we asked if we could get our money back since they haven’t started making the couch but they say “I never said that!, we can’t the guys get here since 5am in the morning” and “the order to make it, I already placed it and there’s no refunds” which they contradict themselves big red flag. The most messed up part is yet to come! Buckle up…. To all this a woman walked in super furious as she should be (not screaming or making a scene either, we just super annoyed at this point that we wanted to know) forget our $280D, we over heard that this woman has been waiting for her couch for a whole month after her delivery supposed to be. She calls they don’t answer or they do and I think they just keep making excuses for her . She had in her hands what it look like the invoice for her order and she tell the owner ( what it looks to be like) that she has messages proof and he started going through them. This was one of the most stressful purchases I’ve ever made. I ordered a custom chair from Sofa USA to match my existing couch. They told me that if I paid the total amount upfront that I will get my order rushed delivered in 10 days and after multiple times of contacting them and driving to their location they finally delivered my order in 20 days.
Once I received the chair, it was completely the wrong size. Even the paperwork with the measurements that came with the chair didn’t match the measurements of the chair.
After multiple times of trying to contact the manager Lucy to tell her that it was the wrong size, she finally texted me and told me that she will look into it and basically ignored me.
after being ignored I drove to their location to talk to the owner David and He told me that he will look into it and call me back, he never did. He basically didn’t care and told me to kick rocks. Especially since he already got all his money upfront.
When I ordered the chair I gave them the exact measurements and sent them over 20 pictures with the exact measurements for the chair and they still messed up my order. It seems like there’s a lot of miscommunication between the management team and Employees. This company doesn’t take ownership for there mistakes.
When I asked them to fix my order or take their chair back and give me my money back they ignored me. So far Lucy is still ignoring me and still has not fixed the chair.
