Forked River Florist — Local services in Lacey Township

I can not put into words how gorgeous the centerpieces Forked River Florist created for my mother's 75th birthday party were. I am not exaggerating when I tell you people were fighting to take them home! I had to hide centerpieces just to be sure my mother actually got one for herself! People called for days and days to find out where we got the flowers. I have never seen a reaction to flowers the way I saw people react to these.

They were simply stunning and truly unique. I wanted something autumnal because my mother's birthday is in November, but it's very, very difficult to find autumnal florals and centerpieces that don't scream Thanksgiving. I didn't want wall-to-wall mums, orange, and gourds. I found exactly one decent inspiration photo online (after what felt like months of searching) and sent it along to them with the vague direction that I wanted something autumnal, feminine, and warm, with a mix of colors and leaves. Somehow they took that and turned it into a masterpiece. I was literally speechless when I saw the final product, they genuinely exceeded my wildest expectations (and were light years beyond the inspiration photo).

I made sure to put the centerpiece I brought home in a place I could see all the time, I just truly love looking at it and can't tell you how happy it makes me. Truly beautiful art brings that kind of joy and I consider what Forked River Florist did with these flowers art. I'm so sad that they've started to wilt but i look forward to the next time I get to use Forked River Florist...

Below negative reviews. This place was the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life and I wouldn’t recommend them to the lowest class of species on the earth. The owner was so distastefully rude to my family during a recent death, messed up the flowers for the service and was the most incompassionate human to deal with during grief. The shop didn’t take ownership of their mistakes and instead of helping to fix the situation, they caused more problems and started an argument with the mourning family. I feel horrible for the people that have bought from them before, and I feel so saddened to have used this place over better rated and better quality florists during such a hard time in my life. I’m sure the shop has had a rough time through COVID, and I was warned not to utilize them due to other people’s negative reviews, but in a time of need I didn’t listen to the masses and placed an order through them anyways, and was utterly disappointed. The flowers were mediocre and served their purpose, but the customer service was so shameful. I’m truely embarrassed on behalf of this place’s behavior to their customers, and hope they provide a better attitude and better service next year as I’m sure they need it! This is open and honest customer feedback that’s beyond warrented in hopes to help this small business improve their performance and ratings. I wish the owner love, light, better quality and better business...

Would never recommend this place to anyone. I ordered $800 worth of funeral sprays for my father's funeral and each one was wrong. I requested a dominantly Red and Pink rose spray because my children's middle names are Rose and it was important to them. However Forked River Florist decided to put the roses in the back for some reason and told me that was ok. I also ordered another spray to include golf balls because he was a golfer. They told me there would be golf balls throughout. There was 5 golf balls in the spray and 2 were visible. The third one was custom heart from my mother that said BABE on it. They forgot the Babe ribbon and when we called they said the could not bring it till after the funeral. It is extremely depressing to order custom funeral flowers and to be disappointed when you see them and worst of all the florist has no sympathy for your situation. SAD.
