Terrible. Ordered candy for my sons graduation. I happened to stop back in to the shop. Husband was working - wife out sick, was told the candy would be more expensive than I was quoted, I would get a call with the price. Candy was supposed to come in a box, I was told when I stopped in the candy didn’t fit in a box, now it will go in a bag. I was never notified. Days later I called bc never got a call on price increase. Candy went from 3.25 to 4.00. The owner - the husband- seemed to think no call was necessary to tell me of the increase. Wow the people here are so extremely rude. I’ve never been talked to like that before while spending my money in a small business. The lady was so rude when I simply just asked if an item had peanuts. Peanut allergies are a common thing no reason to make the customer feel wrong for asking.. The way they talked to their customers you’d think they didn’t like money. It wasn’t just to me either. The man was talking extremely rude to another woman asking simple questions to the point where when she caught on to the off putting vibe. I know the chocolate is home made but even for that I still feel it is very pricey. I also was not impressed with their chocolate. The truffles were weird. The inside truffle part had a weird texture and was alot thinner of a goo center than I would otherwise expect from a truffle. The "creams" were also gross. The creme centers did not taste like the flavors they claimed they were. The maple kind of smelled like maple but did not taste like maple at all. Other chocolates tasted old... like the creme center was now solid from being so old. For $35 for a little over a pound I expected...
