Same Day Computer — Local services in Laconia

So I will say straight from the bottom of my heart: These are the kindest, most wonderful people I have ever dealt with in the computer service industry. Their staff absolutely went above and beyond, specifically Katie and I couldn't be more thrilled. I am a person with a walking disability and right from the start they offered to not only bring my computer from my car for me ( something they thankfully didn't have to do because I had help ) but they also offered to bring it back TO my car for me so that I didn't have to struggle with it. ( The walkway in to their building is a little steep, not their fault! ) Furthermore when it came time for me to get my computer and I was running late ( WELL past time for them to close ) poor Katie waited for me to get there so that I could pick my computer up. ( And I mean it was well past go time, it was 530pm. That is a long time for someone to wait. )

The problem that my computer was having was a difficult one and they spent three days trying to figure it out, doing everything in their power to find out exactly why I was having the issues with my USB ports that I was. I, being the not so bright person that I am, did not give them all of my computer equipment and had forgot to give them my power cord so they were using one of their super awesome superior power cords. ( Which is actually why they couldn't figure out what the problem was. The problem was my computer not getting enough power via the cord and my keyboard sucking ALL of the power because that's what Razer products do. It was murdering my USB ports. I got a new keyboard that wasn't a Razer product and haven't had a single problem since. )

Needless to say I will be going to them in the future if I have any computer mysteries or disasters, and I highly recommend everyone else do the same. LISTEN TO THE HUNDREDS OF YELP REVIEWS!! this place is so trashy and just a scam. we brought in a pc for them to fix and they didn't have the parts needed for it or even know where to look?? (keep in mind these are common parts, including a cpu, and it's literally a computer repair shop), then they claimed to have found them for $700 when we got compatible & very efficient parts on our own for half of that. many people we know who've gone here have also had experiences with crazy prices for parts they don't have or "can't find." anyways, the older woman working there is extremely unpleasant and the people there don't know more about computers than the average person who built their pc. the diagnostic is sort of worth it, but the work they do can be done better by anyone else and took them an hour, yet the computer was there for about a week. we supplied them with everything they needed and even got high-tech parts, yet they didn't even repair it correctly, for the wifi connector isn't plugged into the motherboard, the boot drive wasn't even on the correct drive, the leds don't work anymore, and the wifi card was somehow contorted? (please note that none of these problems were why the computer was brought in to begin with). they messed new things up with the pc that weren't issues to stary with and the pc required additional work to the motherboard after. this place just sucks, the work they do is a scam and they charge crazy prices for it. you're better off going literally...

in the past i dealt with josh who is a honest and hard working man with the correct values needed in this line of work, when i got my computer repaired they said they had to order the parts, an understandable situation, but i wasn’t expecting the insane mark up %200-%300 compared to average market price, of which i found my own parts and they were okay with installing what i brought in, this is a week after bringing in the computer due to time it takes for parts to arrive, upon giving them the parts, i was informed it would take upwards of 2 days minimum to hear back, and when i asked why they said they had other computers to build that had arrived that day, which confused me as this was a simple installation which shouldn’t take more than an hour, and was met with attitude and disrespect followed by the threat of stopping my order and simply charging me for the diagnostic fee. i wait the days it takes and when i pickup my PC i informed the manager who was the very same woman that for a customer service position of which a customer has been referred to the business despite the negative reviews perhaps she can be more polite to the people willing to pay the wild fees, of which she said she had no attitude and i left, i don’t recommend anyone go to this location, the business owner is a good man but the laconia location is being managed by a tyrant who thinks she’s above the customer, go to any other location or...
