Brick Front Restaurant-Lounge — Restaurant in Laconia

Waited at the door for a while being seen numerous times but not acknowledged. After getting seated it was again a while before our "waitress" came and took drink orders who seemed pretty frazzled, while we were trying to order the childs food with our drinks she was trying to rush off. Drinks came right back and child food came out and was eaten before she even came back for our food order. Takes our order and comes back ten minutes later to tell us the kitchen is backed up and going to be a while. Fast forward 15 minutes... 2 men and a woman come in seat themselves right beside us (huge sign says must see staff before being seated). They must have been pretty special. 3 servers were at there table within a minute and within 10 minutes they had drinks and apps. Then they get salads and meals while we still haven't received one app and haven't been checked on. She finally comes back for drink refills... been about 40 minutes at this point. After 50-55 minutes we get food (after 8p.m.) a/now child is exhausted and we can't enjoy it meal. We eat half the food to just get out and wait another 15 minutes for check. We had to track so called waiteress down to pay bill. Almost $120 and we were treated like second class citizens. This place has amazing food but the rest of it is a joke. I read a review where the waitress helped herself to more of a tip.... Think this may have been our waitress. Our waitress got what she deserved for a tip ( lucky she got anything) hopefully we don't find extra charges on our credit card. Especially after the experience we had there. We should have gotten everything for free. I have been in the service industry for over 20 years and this is one of the worst experiences that I've ever had. Very disappointing. We won't...

Server was great even for her falling behind and having a few "fun" tables. I went to this place because its been in buisness for 30 years. So it has to be good.

My potato was beyond over cooked and the skin was hard to cut through even with a steak knife.

My boyfriend ordered teriyaki steak tips. Smelt amazing and was yummy at first bite but it was really overly moist so he checked the bottom of the plate and we had to use a spare plate to drain the excessive oil... it had to be about 1/4 of a cup of oil just sitting on that after we drained the vegetables and the tips. We didn't wanna bug the waitress because she had a lot of things going on... and we had a 2 hour drive home so we just needed asked for Togo containers and the check.

From every perspective of the performance of a restaurant it was terrible. They do keep the place clean but our waiter Joe never set his table (and never offered any silverware even after we got our appetizer), never told us the specials, never recommended dishes, served a margarita in a small plastic glass, and we waited over 20 minutes for a single plate of nachos. When asked about the ridiculous wait, rather than apologize and offer to push it forward, he defended the wait time with "the cook is busy". Clearly too busy to be timely for us. I had a Trump hat on, Laconia natives are known for abusing their occupation to protest Trump supporters. And prices? It was $50 for a plate of nachos and 2 drinks. You...
