I don't write reviews ever. I am always open to new and different businesses. However- I went to this salon on my way back from Newton last week. I had powder on my nails. It needed to be redone. I have spent two months also growing out my nails. I went in, asking to have a powder manicure if they had time. They did. So I'm normally used to soaking my nails for a decent amount of time to start over. So they had me soak my nails in acetone ( old school dip your hands in ) ... kept checking and then the lady starting pulling off my powder with clippers. My nails were weak before but she kept pulling away the acrylic off my nails. So it hurt and I pulled my hands away a couple times. I let it go hoping this was as a process I'm guessing for better?? So then applying the powder - she slapped my fingers SO HARD / not being a baby about this but I have two surgeries and broken wrists and have arthritis and swelling on my knuckles. I hate even writing all of this because I never do, but it Wasn't normal. So everytime I have had dip powder - it lasts at least 10 days or more. My nails have cracked, chipped- and seem more weak then ever. I'm so sorry to write this but please be careful. I just lost two months of healthy nail growth to...

Pros- Anna gave me the best Pedicure of my life. She noticed that I had pain on the corners of my toe nails and meticulously and ever so gently got all my ingrown toenails out. She was sweet, went so above and beyond in every way and really did an excellent job. It was hands down the best ever. She’ll be here till January so ask for her!!

Cons- the gel manicure with a different person was the worst ever. You could see the brush strokes, the color iwas uneven, and 3 days later it started chipping and peeling off. Around my cuticles weren’t cleaned it was just all over bad. My husband without me saying anything asked If I did it. Lol.

While I never wrote bad reviews and want to go back for Anna I probably won’t and I’ll just stick with my old place. I wanted to share since that is a treat for me and now I’m out $50 and want to get a manicure again elsewhere. Anna should go to a busier local salon.

I also love the massage part of a mani pedi even if they’re simple which I guess is just not...

✨clean✨courteous✨friendly✨ I was able to get a same day appointment, the studio is so cute and clean, welcoming too. The staff was incredibly friendly the moment I walked in. But, what the heck was the rush? I had gotten a gel manicure which took no more then 15-20 mins max. Which honestly maybe this girl has a great service on her hands if one wanted an “express” manicure. However my tech went SO fast it was near impossible to relax. She put my hands in cold water; didn’t press my cuticles, really was lax on the hand massage, didn’t clean my nails off with alcohol after the last wash and didn’t use any sort of cuticle oil before leaving. As I was leaving I thought… WAS it a good thing I was in and out...
