Lilikoi Boba — Restaurant in Lafayette

This could've been so much better. I asked for a plain tea with boba (no sugar or anything else), and the first thing the cashier asked me was "Would you like tea or milk tea?" After that, on the receipt, it said "100% Natural Cane Sugar" and charged me extra for sugar when the cashier did not ever ask about sugar or ice. I'd wager half my drink was ice. The tea also did not taste like it had added sugar. The mochi donuts were also stale. Ordinary skimpy donuts that were definitely not worth $3 each. I also got a milk tea, and while it was better than my other tea, it was very average and not worth the money. On the other hand, their honey boba was average. Drinks were delicious (my daughter was so happy to find out she could get star jellies instead of the boba). When we arrived we were greeted by three workers who helped take orders and make the drinks and food. Loved getting fresh bubble waffles (my favorite was the ube and the kids liked the oreo one). Bubble waffles were good, but dense and makes sense why they are usually served with ice cream. Big bummer for us was the spam musubi. The spam musubi was definitely not fresh as the rice was super hard. My girls still ate theirs, but kept throwing the rice to the dog. We will definitely be back as the drinks were good, but may pass...

Update: I’ve now gone here every weekend and tried new drinks, and all of them have been amazing. Worth going out of my way to Lafayette for it!
