Macy's — Local services in Lafayette

The older 60 plus platinum blonde lady, that works in the fine jewelry area always refuses to cash me out. And is very rude each time I ask her to cash me out. Thankfully to younger cashiers took care of us. And since the platinum blonde was to interested in carrying on conversation with another gentleman. I just got what I came for and went back to the two friendly girls. Unfortunately they had to get a code from another associate in order to ring me up. Its said that a respectful place treats you to according of how your dressed. Kinda of like being on Pretty woman or Selena how the associate treats them like they can't afford it. Not only could I afford it. But I paid in cash for it!!! Even though I do have a Macy's card. People like her detour bigger purchases that could bring in more revenue. Word of mouth gets around faster than any other advertment. My Uncle was a millionaire but chose to wear yard sale specials just to prove a point. Now I understand the rest of his story!! I'd give you 4 maybe even 5 stars but until that lady treats me with the respect i deserve not happing!! No matter my looks that's immaterial. As long as I have cash on me to afford what I want I'll buy it. But hiring judgmental people like her, Won't go far. Next time I want a pricey item I'll go to Nichols or distinctive diamonds or even Jared's. Regardless she's chasing off regulars like myself. Im rather dissatisfied with the customer service I received last night when my fiance and I went into their store about 20 minutes before closing I did not realize they closed at 8 o'clock I thought they still stayed open until 9 but that's not what I'm upset about We went into the store to look for a new diamond ring before our wedding because I wanted to get her something better than I was able to afford 3 years ago I had a budget of 3-4 thousand dollars but unfortunately all the bridal sets were already covered with black guards we found the sales associate Mason on the other side of the counter taking other jewelry out of the case and asked if they were closing he said yes they will be closing at 8 and asked if there was anything we were wanting to look at I said yes your bridal set but I see they are already covered with guards he apologized and told us they would be opening at 10 tomorrow I always bought jewelry from macys and only macys in the past but my fiance talked me into looking at kohl's turns out kohl's has very nice jewelry and she found the ring she loved that was a 14kt white gold 1 ct vera wang ring that was $5600 it was a little over my budget but the very helpful sales lady informed me I could save 35% if I opened a kohl's account so it ended perfectly with the ring she wanted and...

I'm a dad and I was looking for a coat for my newborn daughter. I say this because being a guy alone in the children's section at this particular Macy's is the most awkward thing I've been through in a long time. Every time I turned around I was being watched by a different employee. At one time I counted 5 employees watching me from all different angles. Everytime I looked at one they would be staring at me but suddenly they would look away. After I left the girls section I went to the men's but I was followed and the watching continued. They were not busy at all so maybe they didn't have anything better to do but this is not the best way to treat your customers especially during a pandemic where any business should be considered a good thing. They have a nice selection and it's hard to find a coat for a newborn so I bought one but I'm definitely not going back there for a long...
