Brought my 3 yr old son in to get a cut after schedulong a kids hair with Dieon. Mind you I have had his hair cut here many times before but by Lee. Dario instantly started complaining about not wanting to cut my son's hair because he might not sit still. He said he would try but gave very little effort even saying he didn't have time to deal with cutting my son's hair because he has "customers" coming in, as if I wasn't a paying customer myself. Not to mention he started my son's cut late because he needed time to eat, smh. After a few minutes he said that was the best he could do. I said ok, paid (even left him a tip) as my son walked further away from me toward the play area I realized he left my son's head a wreck. I took my son back to him a requested that he fix it as best as he could. Did so all while throwing out passive aggressive comments. If certain barbers don't want to cut kids head's below a certain age then that should be stated that. I was a regular custom of the barbershop until now and I will no longer recommend this place to anyone other than to say, Lee has done a great job on both boys heads in the past but I can no longer support an establishment that condones this type of treatment of paying customs. I will gladly take my business else where.
In response your reply: I may have gotten his name wrong. Maybe it was Dario or something like that. It began with a D. Brown skin, glasses, tattoos on his arms, working the first chair as you walk in the shop. I hope that gives you a better idea. If you don't service children under 5 then you should state that somewhere. That is not stated anywhere on your app and also like I said, I have gotten my 3 year old son's hair cut there before so the statement you have made is not true. The lack of consideration in your response, lack of desire to resolve this issue and lack of investigation into the matter, makes it even more apparent that this review and lose of my business is warranted. Now I actually believe 2 stars was too gracious. Please consider implementing customer service training into your...
Read moreRACIST PLACE! Don't go there unless you are Africa American. I called and made an appointment. Went and sat there until my appointment time that I was given on the phone. An African American gentleman walked in as the African American barber finished with his African American client. By the way, there was a white barber cutting a white customers hair. (Can you start your see a trend here). The customer said that he was there for his appointment that he made for 12pm. It was 11:30am. The barber said , "No. You're my 11:30 appointment. Go ahead and sit down." I WAS THE 11:30 appointment! When the customer pointed out that I was before himself, the barber said, Oh, he's just a walk in. YOU'RE my 11:30". I have never faced such racism in my life! Again, NEVER GO THERE UNLESS YOU'RE A BLACK PERSON!
After reading the establishments response, I would like to add...I did speak up. I did tell the barber that I had an appointment. That i was not just a walk in. The employee in question just ignored me, and continued to only address the African American clients. If the ownership truly does feel that it is a "multicultural" business, then I ask the owners to prove it. And deal with this employee. Because, his actions spoke MUCH louder then the owners words. I appreciate the owners response. And thier offer for a free haircut. However, this employee has made me feel unwelcomed in the most ugly, and hateful way possible. I'm sorry....I will...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut at R&R barber shop with the talented Jason and I must say, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I walked in, Jason greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. His attention to detail and precision while cutting my hair was truly impressive. Not only did he listen attentively to my requests, but he also offered valuable suggestions on how to style my hair in a way that perfectly suited me.
What really stood out to me was Jason's passion for his craft. It was evident in the way he meticulously worked on my hair, ensuring that every strand was perfectly in place. The end result was a haircut that not only looked great but also made me feel like a million bucks.
Overall, my experience at R&R barber shop with Jason was nothing short of exceptional. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and with a newfound confidence in my appearance. If you're looking for a barber who not only knows his stuff but also genuinely cares about giving you the best possible experience, look no further than Jason. Trust me, you won't be...
