Verizon — Local services in Lafayette

STAY AWAY from this store! I absolutely don't recommend this store. I wish I have checked these reviews before going there as I saw lots of people having the same experience with them and left a similar reviews for them. They are real thieves trying to sell you phones and lines with whatever mean they have. I have switched two lines to Verizon and they gave me all possible wrong information about buy 1 get 1 free, they mixed all my lines together, and made me buy 4 phones + an extra line that I don't need and didn't keep any of those promises and at the end Manu hang up on me!!!. They do everything to sell you phones and lines. After 20 h phone conversation with Verizon and going back to store again and again, they continue to give me wrong info. I'm still waiting for Carlos (store manager) to call me back!! What a joke! It is the most unprofessional/horrible service I ever had from any phone provider. Just BE AWARE and double check what so ever promotion they propose. It could be easily wrong and it would be too late to fix it.

UPDATE: I have called the number mentioned in the comment but again after 1 h on the phone and talking with two different persons, they told me that they will certainly call me back but after 10 days, nobody called me!!! What a joke!!! Even their customer service...

If I could put NO STARS I would. My mom went into the LAFAYETTE.CA Verizon store 3 weeks ago and spent 5 HOURS in the store. The account was in my dad's name so she went in there to take his name off. He passed away in October. They were supposed to transfer the name on the account and then she ordered a new phone. The phone was being shipped out and she was told she would receive it in 3 days. The order never got shipped. The account never got transferred. The phone never got ordered or shipped. Now I have been on hold with customer service trying to get this account name change and the phone reordered. I have had a great experience with Verizon and with the Brentwood, CA Verizon store BUT The VERIZON STORE IN LAFAYETTE, CA is HORRIBLE. They are incompetent and not trained well. She dealt with multiple sales people when she was in the Lafayette Verizon Store during that grueling 5 hours. I ordered a phone through verizon.com they offered same day pick up and this was the closest store with my phone. I called later that day and they said they do not have the order. Tried a couple of days later and they said they have the phone to come in for pick up. When I got there the sales rep was trying to cancel the order and reorder. I imagine this was to make a commission since my order was through the website not through that store. I told him not to cancel the order that my phone was sitting right there. I asked to speak to the Verizon rep who was on the line to and he hung up so I could not ask her to have him release the phone. I was going to let him reorder my purchase, but then he said I must buy a case and screen protector to get the phone! WHAT? I already had these and refused so he refused to sell me a phone.
