Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Lafayette

As parents most of you know that if your child had a good day, you had one also. After ordering an individual pizza my son Andrew, we sat at the booth and surprisingly realized we were the only patrons in the restaurant this afternoon. Andrew likes to play with the pepper and cheese shakers, and although we made a significant mess, we expected that the atmosphere would be more amenable towards children and their behaviors given the games that promote in the back of the restaurant. Not long after we were scolded a hostess saying that the cheese and pepper shakers are a costly food item and they shouldn't be played with. I think the staff should be more aware that children often play with salt and pepper shakers and scolding parents and children is not necessarily the best approach. I think if other parents had witnessed what happened, they would feel the same way. I hope your child doesn't experience the lack of awareness of a positive experience, no matter what age. I will...

If you know Round Table Pizza, this is a 5-Star Round Table. If you don't know Round Table, this is a 2-Star family friendly pizza place. Clean, friendly, easy, and the kids like it. Great management and customer service. They advertise large screen TVs and Wi-Fi to get the parents in, but the TVs are actually small and low definition, and very only basic cable channels with local sports channels. Think Motel 6 and that's the TV sitiation. Could be much better with minimal investment but I don't think that they need the money. The wifi is passable.

Do not order delivery.

They outsource delivery to DoorDash and keep the fees and tips for themselves. I called twice to check on my order and both times they said that the order was picked up and it's out of their hands. Two hours after my order and an hour later than the estimated delivery time, the manager said the following:

"We are really busy and since you ordered online, the delivery time is wrong and there's no way to update the delivery time. It's out for delivery and that's all we can do."
