VIDEO GAME EMPORIUM — Local services in Lafayette

I got screwed out of $378!! 3 DAYS is all the longer i had it and it started messing up on day 2! I bought an XBOX ONE console, controllers and games Saturday 6/1. The next day, Sunday while playing it the screen started flashing and had white lines through it. I called Video Game Emporium, they were closed so I took it into the store Monday when I got off work, I was assured it was either my tv, a loose HDMI cord or the HDMI adapter on my tv needed blown out. I did everything as recommended, tried playing it again today 6/4 and it starts flashing again so I take it back to the store and asked for a refund only to find out they don’t give refunds but wanted me to leave the console with them so he could take a look at it. No problem, I asked if I could have some sort of proof showing I left the console there and I wasn’t given anything so I asked for my console back. They told me everything I wanted to hear when I was purchasing it but never mentioned you can’t bring it back if it don’t work! I even paid for the 2 year protection plan they offered and he recommended I take it somewhere else so they could look at it. Went their yesterday to get a disk resurfaced which was only 3 dollars. The next day, me and my man stop to get gas so I decided to check my bank account and I am negative 8 dollars. I look through all my transactions because I know their is something wrong. $300 was taken from my account yesterday from here. Accident or not, that is theft and that is my money I work for. Even if this was a mistake, it should of never happened because what if I really needed to go to the hospital or I had something that needed to be paid right now. I talk to a guy their over the phone as soon as I saw that, he was nice and helped me get my money back but if that money would of never showed up, I would of contacted the authorities. Sold me a Xbox stating that it worked and if there was anything wrong with it he could fix it. First of all it was $160. That is way too much when it’s not even new and is from 2001.
