Costumer service in this store was THE WORST I have ever experienced. I came in to buy a ring for my mom, I explained to the person helping me that I needed the ring in the correct size within a week because I had to travel with it. Initially he told me that the ring could be shipped to the store in two days, after purchasing the ring he said it would be in the store in 3 to 5 days, and I asked again and he assured me that the ring would make it in time. Three days later I hadn’t gotten any shipment confirmation email, and I went to the store to see if they had any information regarding when the ring would be in. The lady who helped me this time had a bad attitude to begin with. I explained the situation calmly only to addressed with even more attitude by her very rudely saying that there was nothing they could do since it was and online purchase. After saying that the purchase had been done in the store, she explained (with a very rude attitude) that the person who sold me the ring bought it in their online store using their tablet, and therefore there was nothing they could do and that if I hadn’t received a confirmation email yet the ring would not make it to the store by the day I needed it. After leaving the store and purchasing a ring from another jewelry store where I was treated like a client should be treated, I returned to Zales to calmly let them know that the way they had handled the situation was not ok, that they had lost costumers because of the attitude she had and that considering that they are dealing with sales of thousands of dollars and cannot treat costumers like that. Her reply was: “ok, but I don’t have an attitude” in a very aggressive and rude manner. To which we replied, again calmly, that that was attitude and that that is not the way to treat costumers even if they were not the ones to make the promises they couldn’t keep. At this moment, her male coworker stepped in and said: “this is over, you guys need to leave or we are gonna have to call security”. WE WERE THREATENED IN STORE WITH CALLING SECURITY BECAUSE WE WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW WE WERE TREATED BY THEM. If this is not the clearest example of terrible costumer service I don’t know what is. We were expressing our complaints and opinion in a very calm and civilized manner only to be received with threats and attitude. Read moreI wish zero stars was an option. Absolute worst experience ever. First I buy a ring and they tell me it will be a few weeks and they will call me when it is in. Few weeks go by. My wife calls and weird they have it in the store. And we had to call to ask if it was there. Then we were told by a young lady that since we live in Indy and bought this ring in Lafayette I could come pick it up as long as I had the receipt and replacement ring even tho Ashley’s name was on the paper work. So I drive an hour and a half to Lafayette to pick it up. The “manager” says nope can’t have it Ashley has to be here. I explained to her exactly what we were told to do. I get a shoulder shrug and she says sorry. That’s it. Sorry. So my wife calls corporate. They say “we will write up the store and manager” for this. Ok cool. What does that do for me? So then we are told “call the store talk to the manager and tell them you want a $100 discount for your time and inconvenience since you now have to drive a 3 hour round trip to pick your ring up” since we were given false information. So she does exactly that. The same lady I encountered with answers the phone and ashley repeats what she was told to say and the “manager” says I’m not the manager you have to contact the GM I have zero control over that and can’t do anything for you. So Ashley asks to be put in contact with the GM. the “manager” says no. SHE SAID NO. Excuse me. How do you just say no?? Then tells Ashley to call customer service.
This has been an absolute joke. I want nothing to do with this store or these people. Can’t believe what a waste of time this was. I absolutely will be getting my money back and taking my business elsewhere. And to think we were going to have a custom ring made by them. HA

Read moreI had The worst experience I’ve ever had here I’ve had my ring since 2013 and I’ve never had an issue getting it Inspected for the warranty until now. I went in there to have it inspected the first lady barely looked at it, and gave it back to me and said because it was a pink sapphire She refused to clean it and didn’t even inspect it. I waited two days to go back in there at 11 o’clock when they were supposed to open they didn’t open until almost 1130 knowing I was waiting and then the next two ladies looked at me like I was beneath them and didn’t want to inspect my ring still refused to clean it, but the lady finally did and she did check it, but she also gave me attitude about it and said because it’s a pink sapphire, they can’t clean it. I’ve been coming here since 2013, Never had an issue with it getting cleaned inspected always had great service but these ladies that work there now don’t do their job and I don’t even want to go, but I have to because if you don’t have an inspected every six months it avoids the warranty.
