Hokus Pokus Liquor - Lake Charles — Local services in Lake Charles

I called this establishment to see if they had a specific brand of liqour (Weller Antique 107). I was told by the gentleman that they had a 3 bottles of this brand left. I ask if he could hold those bottles for me due to the fact that I was coming from New Orleans (3.5hrs away) and would be there around 2pm. I was informed that he would hold the bottles and he asked the name for whom that he was holdinght these bottles. I asked for his name and he told me just ask for the manager (he and the manager are one and the same). I arrived at the store 3.5hrs later. I informed the lady who was behind the counter that I was there to purchase the bottles they were holding for me and ask for the manager. She gave me a peculiar look and went into a office for 5 minutes where a gentleman who introduce himself as the manager. I informed him of who I was and told him that I talked to someone earlier about holding the bottles. I was told that they do not have those bottles and he asked if I had the right store. I pulled up my telephone log and showed him the number of the store that we were in. I believe that this store had the bottles and they were only selling to certain people. I find several store are practicing this method of selling hard to get liqour to certain buyers. The crazy thing is that I was there to purchase the bottles (It not like I was asking for something free). Plus, I informed the guy that I was driving in from New Orleans which is 3.5hrs...
