Southlake Theater — Attraction in Lake Charles

We purchased tickets for the Trolls experience for this past Friday night. I could not find online if they had snacks or food options, we ate before we went. Tickets were $25 a piece. I did not know exactly what to expect from the experience but I'm so glad we went. The entire place was full of different trolls cut outs and pictures. All the staff and everyone had on beautiful troll shirts and had so much glitter on. We arrived and found six seats together. The hall way was decked out full of awesome lights and had a few back drops to take pictures in front of. The music, light, experience, and the young actors/actresses were perfect! Also during the performance/movie the employees gave our these awesome light up bracelets to each child.

--- the singing and dancing was phenomenal. Overall a 9/10 for the entire experience. I will say my husband got up to get 2 buckets of popcorn and 3 waters, it was almost $40 which in my opinion was steep. The popcorn had some pink pieces in it to go with the theme.

I went to Southlake Theater recently to attend a comedy show and I was impressed at how nice and clean everything is. The front entrance doubles as a concessions counter with a lot of different drinks and snacks. The theater room itself was decked out in acoustic paneling and I definitely did not have any issues hearing anything the entire night (having an audio technician walk around the room helps!). Excited to see what future shows and events pop up here. Can't speak to the bathrooms but I'm sure they are lovely based on the entire venue being so new. Attended The Andrew Duhon trio concert Saturday April 13th. Such a delight! Their performance was so entertaining with great music and stories behind them. I’d def see them again. The venue was fabulous and the theater itself is outstanding. This is such an unexpected treasure in Lake Charles. The venue is one of the best we’ve been to. The sound is incredible and I thought it was better acoustics than the Fox Theater in Atl. Can’t wait to see what other performers they’ll bring in.
