Kingslayer Games — Local services in Lake Forest

Do not spend your hard earned money here!!!

About a week ago from the date of this post, I called Kingslayer Games to ask about purchasing an OP10 Booster Box (One Piece TCG). The staff was friendly, gave me the price over the phone, and I went in to buy it that same day without any issue. Fast forward to 05/29/2025 (yesterday), I returned to buy the same product, only to be told there was now a 6-pack limit per person and they couldn’t sell me the box.

It’s disappointing to see such inconsistency. One employee was fine with the purchase, but a week later another denied it — for the same product. Management really needs to ensure the whole team is on the same page about store policy so customers don’t get mixed messages. Otherwise, it creates confusion and frustration for loyal buyers like myself. That’s why I’ll never spend my hard earned money here again and you should consider doing the same. I don’t think this store is right for anyone with that response and that attitude. So, I recommend going to Meeple Games in Diamond Bar where regardless if their stock is low they don’t limit you or come up with excuses to limit their customers. I've never been a Trading Card Game player before, and to be honest I've been intimidated by the gameplay and by the players in the past. So much to remember, the learning curve, and the competition with seasoned players.

I discovered Kingslayer (Lake Forest) Dec. '23 at a Learn to Play event for Disney Lorcana. I was pleasantly surprised to find a knowledgeable and approachable staff, a fun and easy to comprehend 1-on-1 tutorial on how to play, and the most warm and welcoming community of people just like me; looking to play and have a great time with authentic people, building friendships and connection.

Very amazing store, went here to a tournament and they really treat you well. Great selection of products as well. I highly do recommend coming here to play or to shop.

If you're into war hammer, yugioh , pokemon, mtg, digimon, etc. I highly recommend playing here.

They staff is incredibly accommodating and the hospitality is on a different level compare to most games store i've been too.
