"The Orchard: Where Security Guards and Golf Carts Go to Hide!"
Hi Juliette/ Management of The Orchard⦠Thanks for your response to my last email⦠NOT!
Hereās the latest dispatch from the lawless frontier of The Orchard, where chaos reigns and security is a mythical creature, last seen sitting by his car, dreaming of a golf cart he canāt even access!
From 6-9 PM tonight, I roamed this retail jungle, and guess what? No security in sightāagain! If you canāt afford a golf cart, how about bikes with flashlights? Or, I donāt know, an actual security guard whoās PRESENT and not just napping by his sedan? I half-expected to see a tumbleweed roll by, followed by a shirtless guy smoking pot on the side of Goodwillāoh wait, that actually happened!
The scene outside Peetās? A homeless encampment thatās basically a pop-up village now. Meanwhile, the ULTA area is still a magnet for unsavory typesāstealing, harassing, and scaring employees and customers alike. I took it upon myself to investigate, and the one guard I found admitted he canāt even get to the golf cart because the keys donāt work for the enclosure. What is this, a comedy special? "The Great Golf Cart Lockout of 2025"?
Juliette, you say there are two guards until midnight, but where are they? Hiding in the bushes? Playing hide-and-seek with the keys? This place is turning into a free-for-all, and Iām not here for the āshop-and-dodgeā experience. The Orchard used to be a gem in Lake Forest, but now itās a circusāminus the clowns, unless you count the guy I saw loitering shirtless by Goodwill.
Pics attached for your viewing pleasure: encampments, pot-smokers, and zero security presence. Fix this, or Iāll be back with more 1-star reviews and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe orchard is a very nice place with quite a great deal of stores and dining places in there as well as an optical place of Ralph's grocery store which is not as you would expect it is a very large confusing store but they don't cater to some things that people are used to in another maybe different area but the other stores are very nice there used to be a beautiful park at the corner of it at Richland and El Toro it was so wonderful to sit in but apparently the city has let it been run down and they gated it off which was a beautiful spot to sit and have lunch but I guess they did have a problem with some homeless people about 6 months to a year ago and they instead of fixing it up and making sure the problem didn't come back they have just blocked it off then you're welcome to join it there's also a Goodwill in there if you need to go there and across the street is Ross dress for less and sprouts market as well as on the uncore a del Taco harbor freight a fish market and a 99 cent store but the arbor has quite a lot to offer and it's a good stop if you want to go shopping all four corners is that area or excellent except for the part when they closed off that sitting area out...

āWhere are the security guards?? My wife has sent multiple messages to your office with concerns?
āEvery shift, my little girl tells me about shoplifters running wild at ULTAāstealing thousands in products, sketchy guys on drugs wandering in, and creeps harassing her and her coworkers. One time, a naked guy stormed in and caused chaos at the Benefit Brow Barācustomers fled screaming! āSheās scared, Iām furious, and youāre letting The Orchard turn into ācrime zone! āOutside Peetās, thereās a homeless encampment. āBy Goodwill, shirtless guys smoke pot like itās a tailgate party! āPics attachedāsee for yourself!
āJuliette, The Orchard was once a Lake Forest gem, but now itās a danger zone. You say two guards patrol until midnight, but where? Hiding? My daughter and her team deserve to feel safe, not like theyāre in a bad movie dodging thieves and weirdos. Fix thisācameras, guards, a golf cart that actually rollsāor Iāll rally every parent I know for 1-star reviews and...
