First of all, I don’t see why so many good comments like if they were fake. I when there with my family total of 4 hopping that service & food coming great 👎😔 sadly it was all the way around, a soonest we get there we started noticing the inexperience of the personal working there, two person arriving after us was served and attended quicker than us bc are server & (owner) too, he was serving phone orders and counter orders in between. He bring tap water for all of us with out asking first or offering a bottle water, the two water for my kids he brought them in disposable cups wasting product bc we don’t even drink that water and the two sprites my kids order he brought them in a glass bottle. We did like the tortilla chips and we ask for more then he warned me up the that first round was on the house but the second round of he would have to charge for (hello). Then my tostada of octopus 🐙 they served not flavor and octopus hot bc they said they just finished cooking it. I also ordered two pozoles and they bring just one bc the guy didn’t understand it was two, he said “, so I have to wait like around 25 minutes more to get my pozole. Both pozoles (soups) was served without abocado and they offer you tortillas instead of chicharrón or tostadas like the real tradition of. The tortilla of the tacos was extremely small and tacos where served cold. My pozole was served with two small pieces of meat which I think it was disappointing. The most sadly part was the nobody ask or wonder anything about except for one lady that she finish taking over our table bc the owners son was busy doing other stuff and he never come back to our table or said thanks or good bye or anything. Ordered $35 worth of food at 6:00pm on Cinco de Mayo through UberEats and not only did it not arrive until 9:40pm, the restaurant's number didn't even work for me to check in until after 9:00pm (just went straight to hanging up without ringing), and they got our order wrong. They didn't give us our plantains and they gave us cheesecake instead of tres leches. If they had asked, especially once I finally got in contact with them 3 hours after ordering, I would have asked them to just remove it from the order. I specifically ordered tres leches for my boyfriend because it's his favorite. I understand being out of something, especially tres leches on Cinco de Mayo, but they didn't even consult us about the substitution. With the holiday and the crisis, I was anticipating some delays with the order, and was prepared to be patient... but almost a 4 hour wait from ordering, no helpful service, and then getting the wrong order in the end just isn't acceptable to me even with the circumstances. I wish I could have gotten in contact with the restaurant sooner to just cancel the order and get food somewhere else. By the end, our poor UberEats driver had waited there for 2+ hours to get the food, so we tipped her the cost of the order itself and paid a total of $70 for 9 small tacos and cheesecake, which we didn't want. Read moreYesterday I had the absolute worst experience at this restaurant. I visit this establishment often because I work at the bank close by so it’s easy for me to get to. I called ahead of time to place my order for lunch because I know they get busy. Upon arrival, no one greeted me. There were several other people who enter the restaurant that were greeted and taken care of before me. After 15 mins of waiting, someone asked my name. I present my name and I continued waiting for my order. After another 15mins the two workers asked me what I ordered and told me that they had no order for me. They asked me to confirm the phone number I called which they said was correct, and I told them I spoke with the gentleman. They put in my order and I had to wait another 15 mins for my order to be ready, no apologies no compensation for my time being that I am a regular. When I finally go back to work to have my lunch, I realize they gave me the wrong tacos. I called the establishment to let them know and the phone rang several times with the answer. On my third try someone answered and said “yes”, I’m assuming it’s because they knew it was me calling. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner, they put me on hold and then told me that no one is available. I will never visit this establishment again and will tell my co workers to do the same. This has happened to me on more than one occasion and I continue to visit because the food is good but this time broke the camel back. I guess they don’t want to service people like me.
