When my Wife and I want good Lebanese food we would always go to the Lebanese Taverna in Pentagon City. That all changed today! we discovered Layla's Lebanese restaurant and the food was very very good. We spent 7 years living in the middle East so we are big fans of the Lebanese mezza's. The stars depend on what store you go into. Safeway is really an older model and needs revamped because it just looks dirty. Lake Ridge Pizzeria has an all you can eat buffet which is a great value and tasty. You have to ask them to continue to make more pizza, which is a bit of a pain. The reason I give a "5" is the scenery on the lower side of this shopping center. There is a beautiful pond, with geese, turtles and even some koi. Years ago, this place was exceptional in its pristine appearance. Then it went down hill. But just before the pandemic, it appears that caring has been reinvigorated. The parking lot was redone and the grounds cleaned, with brighter lights. Unfortunately, there are not enough trash cans on the grounds or in the immediate areas to prevent the litter left.
